Hostess Gifts: Dinner August 8, 2013 | I seem to always be on the hunt for cute hostess gifts, what about you? I’m going to put together a little series on my “go-to” hostess gifts for: dinners, holiday parties and showers. First, let’s start with dinner. We all know how much effort it takes to host a dinner party, so it’s more than appropriate to bring the hostess a little something. Of course, wine is usually the go-to gift, but consider some of the fun ideas below to change things up…. one. two. three. four. five. six. Everyone loves a good coffee table book, and being the host that she is…it’s highly likely she’ll love a go-to on arranging fresh flowers. Fresh basil is always good to have around, and these can be bought for really cheap at your local nursery…add a little burlap and a cute ribbon and it makes a perfect gift. Diptyque candles. Oh My. My absolute favorite. Bring your hostess one of these bad boys and you are surely to be invited back. How adorable is this buffalo check apron? This one is on major sale at Williams Sonoma so stock up for future gifts! My new favorite white (thanks to the Kraudels)! Anything from Rifle Paper Co is cute, but this recipe tin is beyond and so different! What’s your “go-to” gift to bring to dinner parties? I’m always looking for fun new ideas!
Laura says August 8, 2013 at 8:31 PM I've been getting cute hand soaps and kitchen soaps. I like giving something that can get used up! Paper Affair has a good kitchen hand soap and lotion set that's amazing! I'm in love with those aprons and just abandoned my WS cart that had 6 in there 🙂
