Head to Toe Holiday Outfits with Nordstrom!

Today I’m styling two very different, yet both VERY fun (and affordable!) Holiday looks with Nordstrom! There are so many types of Holiday occasions and thus so many dress codes that I thought I’d cover two of them in this post all about Holiday Outfit Inspiration. I went with a more casual Holiday look with jeans and then a gorgeous and crazy affordable black formal dress. I paired both back to the most fabulous black faux fur coat that will really elevate any and all of your Holiday looks!

Holiday Outfit Inspiration: What to wear to a “Festive” or “Dressy Casual” Holiday Party:

First up is this fun sequin cami combo! It’s fun and flirty and super festive and I dressed it down a a bit with these distressed black skinnies. Adding the pop of leopard and the statement earrings were also fun ways to play up the Holiday feel.

I love wearing a beautiful cami when getting dressed up and of course you know I am especially partial sequins, so this one basically jumped at me! It’s an awesome price and I don’t think that it’s really specific to Holiday, so I could see myself throwing this on with a pair of dressy black shorts during the Summer as well.

I was shocked to find these earrings that picked up the EXACT colors from the top! They are a bit unexpected with the outfit and overall so much fun. They make a statement, but are lightweight and the best part is that they won’t break the bank!

I’m sure you can tell a bit from my face, but it was 27 degrees out when we shot these photos. My face was basically frozen shut and I was never more grateful for this gorgeous black jacket to throw on over this outfit. It not only elevated the look, but it’s warm and luxe and a jacket you’ll wear year after year!

Holiday Outfit Inspiration: HolidayWhat to wear to a “Formal” or “Semi Formal” Holiday Party:

This dress is one of the most flattering that I’ve tried on in recent memory! It’s around $120 and (to be honest) I wasn’t expecting it to knock my socks off like it did! Not only does it look much more expensive but it fits like a total dream.

Sure you’ve seen a zillion long black dresses, but this one has details that really take it to the next level. The sheer overlay with velvety stripes adds beautiful interest both on the skirt and over the shoulders. The fit is also amazing, it zips up the back and gives you the most flattering waistline.

This will be a dress that lives for many years in your closet and one that you reach for over and over when you need to get dressed up! I also threw the black coat over this dress and love that it easily transitioned to a more formal piece. It’s “cool” enough to dress down a little and beautiful enough to dress up for formal occasions as well, all at a price that may surprise you for the awesome quality!

Because I love dressing for the Holidays SO much, I put together a few other fun outfit combinations for more of a “Cocktail Party” dress code! Nordstrom really does have the best head to toe selection for pulling together a complete outfit! And if you’re in a pinch, you can completely shop this post, buy online in your pajamas and have everything ready to pick up at your local store (barring that it’s in their inventory) within an hour!
