Holiday Home Tour | Part I December 1, 2015 | I can’t believe that it’s already Christmas time again!! Today I’m sharing the first part of our Holiday Home Tour as part of The White Buffalo Styling Co.’s Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours. If you are new here, welcome welcome, I hope you’ll stay a while! If you want to know more about me and the blog see THIS. You can also see previous home tours HERE. You guys who are here often know that I just got back from a cruise and after two solid weeks of guests, I actually wasn’t overly excited about diving right in to Christmas. I wanted a pause button. Over the Thanksgiving Holiday I was able to re-charge a little and got more excited to deck the halls. I didn’t go over board and did what felt relaxed and natural for our family, and that makes me happy. Here are a few lot of snaps of our Holiday Home! Welcome and come on in… Turn on your JavaScript to view content Turn on your JavaScript to view content This year, there was no question that I was going to get a flocked tree. I’ve been eyeing them for what feels like years, and I finally pulled the trigger. To say that I love it would be a bold UNDERstatement. I’m obsessed. I also really changed up my traditional gold tree and went with an ombre look. It’s so fun and different, but oddly simplistic. It’s perfect for our front room. Turn on your JavaScript to view content Since I splurged on the tree, I didn’t have a huge budget to pull off re-working all of my ornaments, so naturally I did some clever DIYs to make it happen. I ended up scoring large quantities of blue ornaments last year during after Christmas sales and they came in handy. I also bought large ornaments from the Dollar Tree (originally gold) and spray painted them to coordinate with the existing blue ornaments. This made a big impact on a small budget…about $15 total for 10 large ornaments. Can’t beat that! I love keeping our bar cart stocked with seasonal goodies… Entryway… Turn on your JavaScript to view content Bottle brush trees are my favorite, so I thought that I’d display my growing little collection in our entry. I love how the Christmas lights illuminate them from the back… I’ll be sharing the rest of our home next week, but until then, here’s a peek! Want to see what our home looked like last Holiday? See it HERE. Now, head over to see my talented friend Carrie at Dream Green DIY. I adore her style, so I can’t wait to see what she’s got up her sleeve!
