Holiday Gift Guide: Hostess Gifts November 8, 2016 | Hi Friends! Happy Super Tuesday! Not exactly a happy day this go-round in my book, but hopefully you guys can join me in a quick prayer for our amazing nation. I’m praying that this vote was never my own anyway and that we are all here and part of a bigger plan. My hope lies in God’s hands and that not only does this election play out as intended by Him, but that we all come away with eyes wide open to the issues that He wants us to see and can then use our own talents and gifts to make a difference in our homes and communities. Now, on a MUCH lighter note, I’m sharing my second Holiday Gift Guide and it’s specific to the hostess on your list. With calendars full of parties to attend, I always find that stocking up on cute hostess gifts ahead of time saves me so many headaches in the end. We all know that last minute scramble for a gift right before arriving to a party…you end up with an unwrapped bottle of wine…which is just not my style. Here are some of my favorite gifts that you can plan ahead and keep on hand, making them easy to grab and go before the party…and leaving you more time to get ready! Winning all around 🙂 JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Turn on your JavaScript to view content One | $36.00 Okay, honestly is this apron not the cutest thing in the entire world??? Can you imagine hosting a Holiday party with this on and all of your closest friends around? I also feel like it might even make me cook better…or at least make people a little more forgiving? haha! I put two on order yesterday for some hostess gals that I love…ps if you have a Birthday in December, do NOT buy this for yourself…mmmk? 😉 Two | $78.00 This Diptique candle set is a one stop shop for hostess gifts! You get 5 candles in this box and all you have to do is pop them out and wrap them up individually with a cute set of matches and you have a gift that any hostess would want! Three | $19.99 I love the thought of giving a small boxwood wreath as a hostess gift. It’s something so timeless that they can use year after year and this one is a great price. I would add a red and white gingham ribbon and would love to bring this to any party. Four | $26.99 Raise your hand if you’re a Fixer Upper fan??? ME!!! I adore Chip and Joanna, and while we don’t always share the same design style, their personalities are always so uplifting! I adore their story and have heard amazing things about their book. Great to give as a gift in general and wonderful to display on a coffee table. Five | $49.95 I love coffee table books! This one feels a little more hostess appropriate and I think the cover is so beautiful. Perfect to display in your kitchen, too. Six | $25.00 Hand towels are always practical and cute to give as gifts. Wrap around a bottle of wine or nice block of cheese and tie up with a beautiful ribbon for a cute and inexpensive hostess gift idea. Seven | $24.00 These little stemless wine glasses crack me up. I also love that they are as beautiful as they are cheeky. Give them to your favorite girl’s night hostess or even as a Christmas gift to a younger girl in her first apartment. Eight | $48.40 This is for the guys. It’s not all of the time that the woman is considered the main hostess, so I wanted to include at least one gift that was geared towards men. This wooden ball decanter is masculine but still very pretty and something to display. Fill it with his favorite whiskey and tie a bow on it for a great gift that any guy would happily accept. Nine | $58.00 I do nothing that requires a rolling pin, but I fell smack in love with this gold one and would happily display it with my other utensils! If the hostess is a baker, this one is a no brainer and cute to include with some fresh baked Holiday treats. Ten | $9.99 As far as value goes, these hammered copper coasters definitely take the win. For under $10 a set, this is such a darling hostess gift and one of those things that I would buy in bulk just to have on hand should I need something last minute. Eleven | $35.00 This is the perfect gift to bring to your Thanksgiving hostess! We all know that hosting Thanksgiving is a monumental undertaking, so splurging a little (even though this is still under $40) is totally appropriate. She will use this platter year after year, so tie a big burlap bow around it and call it a day! Twelve | $129.99 This is more of a hostess gift to one’s self…but gah isn’t she pretty?!?! Newly released and sure to sell out, I can’t get over the price! If you don’t yet have a bar cart, what are you waiting for?? Thirteen | $29.99 A marble and gold bar tools set, why yes! I love gifts that can be displayed and this is certainly one that any hostess would be happy to set out on her bar…bonus points that it’s also super functional! Fourteen | $32.00 This is another set of candles that I love to buy and have on hand. I break the set apart and wrap them individually as hostess, teacher, mail lady gifts and you can’t beat the value! Pin this one to refer back to!
