Gift Guide: Kids + Holiday Outfits December 5, 2017 | Good Morning friends! Someone please tell me HOW it’s already December 5th?! There are already some shipping deadlines in place and quite frankly I’m freaking out a little bit! I’ve done lots of shopping for you guys (see all of the Gift Guides HERE), but am only about half way through my actual list. Wah wah. That’s why today I am SO excited to partner with Nordstrom to share a huge Gift Guide for Kids because they make last minute shopping pretty stress free and are still offering free shipping with a Christmas delivery! #NordstromSavestheDay. In making this guide, I was able to finish up shopping for the girls and was actually blown away by the breadth of Nordstrom’s gift assortment. They had nearly everything on Landry’s list AND more. I also rounded up some Holiday outfit ideas for boys and girls, because I figured it’s easier to knock them out together. I hope that this helps, mamas…lots of these things are our tried and true favorites! Landry’s Dress (comes in 3 prints and is the most darling fit) JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Pair it with some gold booties and you’ll have the best dressed baby on the block! This Little People, Big Dreams book series is what I spoke about on Instastories the other day! They are small hardcover books that talk about inspirational women in history to inspire young girls to follow their dreams and passions. I got Landry 3 of them! These Candy Kirby dolls are all made here in the US and you can choose one according to the little girl’s hair color and skin tone. They really feel like it’s a “mini me” and they are SO well made. Silicone bibs have been one of my FAVORITE things that I have for Lawson. They are so much easier than fabric bibs and can be thrown in the dishwasher or wiped clean after each meal. They make darling gifts as well! Shop the full assortment HERE. Of course she asked for Legos…which I am thrilled about! They keep her busy for hours and are an amazing challenge for her to learn how to follow directions. We got her THIS set, but I think that you guys will be floored by the assortment that Nordstrom has…see all sets HERE. Landry is SO into planning out her days and weeks (not quite sure where she got that from because I operate on a hope and a prayer!), so she is going to LOVE this calendar! It reinforces what they are learning at school and will give us the opportunity to look forward to coming events, discuss the weather, etc. I can’t get over that it’s under $20, I added to cart quite fast 😉 See Nordstrom’s full assortment of Melissa and Doug toys HERE. I saw this little french fry purse in the store the other day and snatched it up so quickly! I’m not sure if I like it more for myself or am more excited to give it to Landry. Is this not the cutest thing??? See all of the darling bags for girls below….I mean that avocado!? I’ve been eyeing them forever and thought that it was now or never because the Holidays are the perfect time to wear them. They come in quite a few colors and are so darn cute. Quite a bit more feminine than the traditional , FP mocs…which I love. These are also a great item to add to grandmas list 😉 Ok now let’s hear it for the boys! I’m not quite as versed in giving gifts to little boys, but here are a few of the gifts that I have given recently… JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Lawson has quite a few of them and they are so so good for development of babies with different sounds and textures. If you have a baby on your list, one of these is a no brainer. I cannot get over how cute mini Boden is for boys! I love these little “My First” sets! I actually bought Lawson the my first purse to put under the tree. Bonus points because they are currently on sale! THIS brand of puzzles is hands down my favorite to give as a gift and my favorite for Landry to actually receive. They are SO well made and challenging enough for kids, while still being fun. For under $15, you really get a great gift! We love them so much that they are included on both gift guides and Landry is getting two of them under the tree. See the full assortment HERE. 5 Ideas to Help Get Kids Involved During the Holidays: Bake cookies or special Christmas treats for our community helpers and hand deliver them to the fire department or police station. Write a letter of gratitude to someone serving int the armed forces wishing them a Merry Christmas. THIS site will guide you through the entire process. This weekend we are tackling a massive toy clean out and will let Landry lead the process. We are going to talk through why we are giving them away and she will come with us to the donation center. Visit a local nursing home with your child to spread some Holiday cheer. Our personal favorite is the Salvation Army Angel Tree. This year was the first year that Landry is aware enough to know that the gifts we are buying are not for her. For that reason, we picked someone around her age with the same likes and interests as her. This way she really feels a connection to the little girl and gets to pick out stuff for her that’s special and relevant. Get more information HERE. This was so much fun to put together! Thankfully it also helped me to finish shopping for the girls, which was such a blessing! Remember, if you are in a pinch, you can order items from these gift guides and select “pick up in store” and they will have them ready for you in about an hour so that you can drive up and pick them up and be on your way. It’s the easiest way to grab a kids gift in a pinch! Come back and see me here tomorrow…I’m sharing a full Holiday Home Tour! Want more Gift Guide inspo? See all of my 2017 Guides HERE.
