Gibson X Hi Sugarplum! at NORDSTROM

GOOD MORNING! CAN YOU TELL I’M EXCITED?!?! Y’all my friend just launched a collection at NORDSTROM! My real life friend who comes over to my house for Happy Hour and such…HAS A COLLECTION AT NORDSTROM!! I’m basically friends with a celebrity, right?! In all seriousness, I met Cassie, Hi Suglarplum,  5 years ago when I had only just started my blog and have been fan-girling her ever since. When we moved back to Texas, I hit the jackpot because she lives only a few minutes away and is always down for a taco lunch! She’s fun, down to earth, beyond adorable and has an eye for colorful style. When she told me that she was collaborating with Gibson on an exclusive line for Nordstrom I honestly couldn’t have been more excited and knew that I would be wearing whatever she was designing all Summer long. The pieces did NOT disappoint and I am thrilled to share them with you today! Everything is under $70 and the bright colors and punchy prints are just the updates that your closet needs. Since we already love Gibson and Hi Sugarplum collection is sold at Nordstrom…it’s a win win! BUT I will tell you that Cassie has a strong tribe, so pieces are going to sell fast…if you see something you like…scoop it up!

Ok are these pieces not TO.DIE.FOR?! Functional, adorable and affordable…does it get any better?

This ruffle tank and stripe skirt combo was my favorite! I love the pieces together, but also love that you can style them separately, The ruffle racerback tank is my favorite piece from the entire collection and I scooped up this color and the black one. TRUST ME and buy at least one color in this guy. It’s so cute on, really flattering and has adorable details to make it feel a step above a tee. I thought that it ran a little big, so I say you’re safe to size down here. I’m wearing a small below for reference and the pink is much punchier than online depicts!

Can we also talk about this gingham bag?! The stripe in the skirt is navy so I played it up with the bag and I love the print mixing happening here. It’s such a cute Summer tote and is big enough for all of your Mommin’ essentials! It also comes in a clutch version. 

Next up is this gingham dress! Great for work, summer events or even Sunday Best. It’s a versatile, fun dress that you can easily play up with pops of color. The belted waist and ruffle sleeves are icing on the cake!
