The Friday Edit

Whohoooo for Friday! This week was a total blur…lots happening around here and it really just flew by! Last night the hubby had 4 friends fly in from Texas, they all stayed with us for the night and now they are all off for boys weekend of golf. They started off by all working together at their very first job out of college and have managed to stay close friends throughout the years…and wives, moves, career changes and kids. It’s a pretty remarkable thing how they are still so close, and fun to have them all in NC for the weekend! In other news, here’s what happened on Style Your Senses this week…

I’m loving the dainty + distressed look for Summer and you guys really seemed to like it here too. This black lace cami is simple yet still a little sexy and paired with the denim shorts it looks laid back and cool.

I’ve been sharing some beauty favorites on Snap and this is absolutely my favorite mascara. I’ve worn it since college and have tried everything in between and always come back to it…it’s just the best ever.

I really really loved this read on bullying, acceptance and teaching our babies at a young age to be sensitive to and aware of other’s feelings.

I also found this darling Etsy shop and had to share. They take custom requests and form jewelry (and all sorts of other things) from pieces of handwriting or even kids’ drawings. I’m LOVING this sweet necklace! We all have those old cards or letters with our parent’s handwriting, I think that this is such a great way to remember them.
