The (Saturday) Edit August 5, 2016 | Hi Friends! Sorry that this Friday Edit post is coming to you a little late, but I thought that it might be better this way since I shared a post on Thursday. I hope that you guys are waking up and reading this with a big cup of joe and a relaxing morning ahead. Here’s what happened on the blog this week, what your favorites were and what links I’m loving this week…along with a FINAL #NSALE recap of a few things that I want to make sure double sure you scooped up while they are on sale! Top Post: You guy love a flattering dress as much as I do! “The Most Flattering Dress” post was certainly your favorite post this week and I have great news…it’s still in stock HERE. There’s also a VERY similar under $100 option HERE. Turn on your JavaScript to view content You guys also seemed to really like the post on Athleisure and how to navigate the trend. Admittedly, a few of you were thrown off by my telling you to throw out those Nike shorts, overall I think that we can all agree that they are unflattering. In the post, I talked about why you need to understand this fun trend, why you’ll love it and what 5 pieces you need to pull it off. See the full post HERE or see the 15+ minute YouToube video detailing everything below. Overall I really like it because I love sharing a less curated, more behind the scenes look at life with you guys. In fact, I was getting to really really love using Snapchat for that very reason. I feel like my friends and I on snapchat really had a fun thing going…chatting back and fourth and getting real insight into things. Now with Instagram, I LOVE having it all in one place, but I’m feeling overwhelmed with all of the stories. I follow over 1,000 accounts and if each person had a story, I’d literally have to watch all day (which is clearly what Instagram wants). How are you navigating this? Have you watched any Insta stories? Thoughts? Feedback? Seriously, I’d love to hear. I’m happy to share on both platforms, but am feeling a confused by what you guys want to see. Otherwise, here were the top grams from the week: I wore this sporty chic outfit for a spur of the moment girls night out to see Bad Moms. Seriously, if you have not seen it…grab your bestie and get there asap! It’s not only hilarious, but it’s a refreshing take on motherhood and all of the pressure that we put on ourselves these days. In the end, being a bad mom ain’t so bad afterall. This olive green bomber jacket was worn 3 nights this week, which would normally embarassing, but there’s not shame in my game when something is so cute! It’s from my friend Morgan’s brand new Buru White Label and is under $100 (more below under link love)! Lightweight and perfect through Fall…grab one ASAP! Jacket | Shorts | Pumas | Clutch | Tank This robe is one of my favorite #NSALE purchases! I love the bright, cheery floral pattern and also love the idea of giving it as a bridesmaid gift. Chloe the puppy agrees 🙂 Robe (Under $40!) | Guest Room Details Link Love: I mentioned above, one of my sweet friends Morgan launched her own clothing line this week!!! That’s so huge! She already owns the fab Shop Buru and she decided to tackle mom style head with Buru White Label by giving women a private label line that’s stylish, mom friendly, AND affordable! You’ll be seeing a lot of it on the blog soon, but take a peek HERE for the full line-up! I mean also how adorable are her and her mini?? #goals If you were following along on Snapchat, you saw that I had the honor of going on a local Charlotte TV show this week and giving my take on Fall Fashion. Colleen is so much fun and I had a blast having word vomit on all of the trends for Fall. If you want to see how that all went down, you can watch the full 4 minute segment HERE. We are all so into the Olympics here at the Fitz casa and it’s fun finally introducing Landry to all of the excitement. I have been searching for fun and exciting ideas for dinner and dessert that are Olympic themed and I think that these Oreos are just the cutest (and easiest!) idea. All you do is grab this edible mist to give them a gold or silver finish. Great option for a kids party or a party with a lot of people. Here’s the mist in GOLD and SILVER. Original Source Ladies ladies ladies…I have no where to wear this dress (although I’m currently scheming), but OMG it’s amazing!!! Please someone buy it! It’s SO affordable and literally makes me wear in the knees. SWOOOON! Shop it HERE. You guys, BaubleBar is seriously killing it lately. They are turning around the hottest on trend styles at affordable prices and I cannot get enough. I snagged these designer dupe earrings this week and am waiting anxiously for them to come it!
