Festive New Year’s Eve Looks by Heidi Klum for Lidl

Every time I sit down to start a post on Friday all I can hear in my head is Landry doing her “Friday Dance” from school…it goes “Fri-day, Fri-day, gotta get down on Fri-day!” and is accompanied by lots of booty shaking….haha! This Friday post definitely has me feeling the same way because I’m sharing two festive New Year’s Eve looks with Lidl! Yep, NYE outfits (that I would actually be thrilled to wear), from the same grocery store that we talked about in Sunday’s post! I have to admit, I was a little hesitant that I could pick up eggs and also an outfit that I felt confident in….but I was definitely proven very wrong and the “Let’s Celebrate” collection by Heidi Klum for Lidl offers high fashion for a very low price. Here are two outfit ideas, and I promise the prices will shock you.

New Year’s Eve is always my favorite excuse to wear sequins, but it does annoy me to spend a fortune on an outfit that I will only wear once, right? Would you believe me if I told you that this navy blue sequin dress is under $20?! Now you can still feel like a million bucks and also splurge on some nice champs!

I love the navy play on sequins, too. It was such a nice break from black and felt so updated.

For reference, I’m 5’9 and am wearing a size 6 in this dress and it fit perfectly. You could also wear it with a black opaque tight and black booties or even layer a black faux fur coat on top. Mixing black and navy feels very updated and gives the outfit some dimension. This is also one of those dresses that you don’t have to overthink because it really does speak for itself…add a fun earring and a clutch and you are out of the door!

Next up, if you didn’t want to show as much leg, I’m styling this sequin skirt and velvet cami for a festive look that’s easy to wear…and also under $20! 

This outfit offers one fun NYE look, but the pieces themselves are also functional outside of NYE. I’ve worn this velvet cami twice now and think that it’s one of the best bargains out there. For under SIX DOLLARS (y’all, this thing is $5.99) it’s such an on trend layering piece that will work so many ways. I’ve worn it tucked into jeans with a blazer on top and also tucked into a blue pleated skirt for a girl’s dinner….all within one week!

For the skirt (a whopping $12.99!), you could also wear it with a slouchy black sweater front tucked, for a more casual + glam look or throw a tailored blazer over it to add a menswear feel.

Lidl really is a busy mom’s dream…get quality groceries, amazing wine, and clothes that you feel confident in all within one trip and for less than I would have ever expected! This frees up more time for me to entertain with friends or snuggle up with my family. I’m a huge fan!
