Favor Bag-DIY January 10, 2013 | I got crafty with these favor bags for my sister’s shower and I thought they turned out pretty cute, so I thought I’d share. We used them as candy bags for guests leaving the shower. The candy bar was filled with all of the candies that she was craving while pregnant (mainly red/pink jelly beans, which she keeps in her car console at all times—shhh), which was fun for guests to know. I found an easy onesie template online and traced onto a cardboard template for my use. I thought that the re-tracing, and cutting of each little onesie would be the hard part—but surprisingly enough, I knocked out 50 in about 30 minutes. If I knew that I wasn’t going to stamp them I would have used cute printed paper for the onesies, which I think would be an adorable twist! Next, I stamped the onesies with a vintage gold ink and let dry (both stamp and ink from Michaels in the $1 bin). Finally, I traced the clothesline and hot glued a mini clothespin (also at Michaels) at center to attach onesie. Dainty pink ribbon would have also made a cute clothesline 🙂 TA-DA! Cute, inexpensive and fun favor bags!
