Drug Store Steals September 16, 2013 | I’m a drugstore junkie. I literally will go into Walgreens “because I need gum” and leave with Lord knows what all else….the list usually includes (but is certainly not limited to) sour patch kids, US weekly, eyelashes, nail polish and on and on….You can see why these trips make me so happy, yes? I finally compiled a list of my favorite drug store beauty products that I have been meaning to share with you guys forever. They are easy, inexpensive products that I absolutely swear by and will probably end up saving you loads of money. You’re welcome lovelies. Enjoy! Cetaphil Cleansing Bar. I use this in the shower every night as a nice gentle cleanser/makeup remover. It’s so gentle and still allows me to cleanse again with something more powerful before bed. Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer. I have been using it for years now. It’s gentle and truly calming. I have red hyper pigmentation and it absolutely evens out my skin tone without feeling too heavy or greasy. Also my SPF for the day. TRESemme Hairspray. I love this stuff. Humidity proof, great hold and yet doesn’t leave your hair feeling like a brick house. The bigger the hair, the closer to Jesus. Rimmel BB cream. Talked about it here. Aquaphor Lip Repair. Always in my bag and amazing for lips. Will heal chapped lips but also perfect for everyday use. I use it as a primer with lipstick on top. L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara. Hands down the best mascara there is. At a whopping $8, I am confident it will stand up to any designer brand. I’ve been using it since college and have tried to stray a few times only to come crawling back. I prefer “brownish black” for day and “carbon black” for night. L’Oreal Infallible Eyeliner. Doesn’t smudge and wears for 12+ hours…what more could you ask for out of a $7 eyeliner?! Johnsons Baby Creamy Oil. I started using this when I was pregnant to avoid stretch marks. I stumbled upon it as a last resort because all of the other cocoa/shea butter lotions I tried were so greasy…and I literally would rather die than be a sticky mess when I am trying to go to bed. To my surprise this lotion is super creamy but not sticky and absorbs extremely fast. Also there’s no strong cocoa butter smell. No stretch marks through 40 weeks and I still use it as my daily all over moisturizer. Win. Win. * Note: sometimes it’s down the “baby” aisle. Do you have any drug store secrets that I should know about?? Dish…
