DIY Felt Hair Bows January 30, 2015 | Sharing a fun DIY that I whipped up this week during nap time for the little lady. I bought her the most darling glitter bows (see them here) and she always receives compliments when she wears them. They aren’t over the top, but have just enough sparkle to entice her to wear them and the gold goes with everything. Needless to say, one is always in the car and the other is inevitably wedged between the sofa cushions at all times…so she needed a few more in her rotation. I searched local baby boutiques fruitlessly and finally decided to make my own. I am SO glad that I did because they are incredibly easy to put together and they come out to about .50 cents each! Here’s how you can make your own: You’ll Need: -Felt (I found mine at Hobby Lobby) -Hair Clips (I bought both the pre-covered and bare clips, then covered them with a thin grosgrain ribbon) -Scissors -Hot Glue Steps: 1. Trace the patterns onto the felt or use the pre-made templates below to cut around 2. Fold the sides of the bow to center and glue down 3. Wrap small strip around the center of the bow and glue down on back 4. Glue base of bow to hair clip 5. Glue bow to clip I almost felt silly typing these out…it’s that easy. I was able to make 4 bows in about 15 minutes and for under $1 each! A perfect project for your little sweetie just in time for Valentines Day!

Style Your Senses says September 15, 2016 at 7:35 AM It’s actually more of a thick glitter paper, but it’s didn’t shed glitter everywhere. I found it at Michaels! xoxo
