Design Inspiration: Antelope Print April 18, 2013 | I’ve always been a huge fan of animal prints done well and in moderation. Although looking through my closet, I don’t think that I have the moderation thing down pat just yet. What can I say…a leopard print really is the way to my heart. Anyway there are a few new and different prints that have me swooning. Dalmatian is for another day, so today we will talk about my obsession with Antelope prints…especially when it comes to carpet and rugs. I’m dying over it. I need it. It’s the perfect neutral skin that isn’t too offensive, yet still offers texture and interest. I am a huge huge fan of the antelope stair runners that I’ve seen floating around. Can you image that view as you enter a home. Oh, Hello. Come in & check out my amazingly chic stairs. I also think that it’s a great print for a living area and just romantic enough for a bedroom. Swoon. Sally Wheat Interiors I have a huge design crush on her! Via Pinterest Jan Showers Veranda Cote de Texas perfect in a nursery too. Bailey McCarthey of Peppermint Bliss …her entire home is to die for Ok, so let’s get real. Most of these images credit Stark Carpet for the ah-mazing rugs. The Antelope print costs a mere $109/yard…so going wall to wall in any room probably isn’t in the cards for me. Until then, it’s stays on the design wish list. Sigh.
