Closet Craving: Pointy Toe Pumps April 4, 2013 | If you follow me on Instgram you saw the disaster that was my closet switch-a-roo for spring. Good grief I accumulated a LOT of clothing. And I swear to you guys I gave away at least 5 bags before the move. Anyway, being pregnant and basically living in 10 outfits really makes you realize that you can be much happier with less. So, after two full days of work…and I mean literally never leaving the house until it was done…I did a major clean up/clean out of the wardrobe. I am sending boxes to family and then donating the rest…and boy does it feel good. Realistically, these days I don’t really venture far from my lululemon uniform anyway. After assessing what pieces I did keep, of course my wheels began to turn as to what shoes I HAD to have for spring. I.HAVE.A.PROBLEM! Ok, so let’s act like I don’t have a problem. I have a lot of skinny jeans and cigarette legs in bright colors and prints that I decided to keep. I also have quite a few boyfriend blazers and feminine tops that made the cut. All of which are perfect for the re-emerging classic pointy toe pump. I like to call them “pizza toe” pumps. ha. I am so funny. I love that this silhouette is back in. I feel like it always elongates the legs and is such a classic, yet sexy shoe that can easily be dressed up or down according to occasion. I follow Bergdorfs on Instagram and literally throughout SXSW all they grammed were the BB Pump by Manolo Blahnik. Such a traditional style that Manolo has really amped up with color and print for Spring. I want them. I need them….in every color. I can’t have them…period. So I began looking for other (less costly) options. Check out the real deal and some pretty great alternatives below. Manolo Blahnik BB Pumps $595-865 Shop here: 1./2./3./4./5.
