Big NEWS! February 18, 2018 | Since today is my birthday it only seemed fitting to share how I’m kicking off my 33rd year and all of the changes that are in store for us! If you follow along on Instagram, you’ve probably wondered what I’ve been alluding to is going on behind the scenes. The truth is that this has been playing out (sometimes not so gracefully) behind the scenes for a few years now and we are finally seeing God’s plan for our family come to fruition. After numerous leads, multiple interview processes, lots of dead ends (and even a few heartbreaks along the way), two weeks ago Dan accepted a new position! This new job takes our family back to Dallas, Texas and brings with it lots of new hope and the excitement of being able to raise our daughters closer to our families. I will write out all of the details in an upcoming post, but I wanted to clue you guys in because everything has happened SO fast…he got the offer a little over three weeks ago, our house went on the market a few days later, went under contract within 2 days, Dan moved to Dallas over a week ago (single mommin’ ain’t easy) and we are set to close on the sale of our home in just under two weeks, with an official move date of 3/2. Everything hit us sort of like a high speed train and we haven’t really had time to process the gravity of what time means for our family…or process much of anything for that matter. We’ve been full force cleaning, purging, packing, repairing and preparing the girls. It’s been especially trying since Dan had to move ahead of us, but I have even more respect for you working single mamas out there…it’s no walk in the park, that’s for sure! Thank you for giving me so much grace here and on Instagram, because I am sure you’ve noticed that things have very much slowed down and content is super sporadic. For the next few weeks, I will be focused on seeing this move through and making it as seamless as possible for my little gals. We are currently hunting for the home of our dreams in Dallas, but alas the market is hot hot hot and I will likely need to be there to pull the trigger on something. So stay tuned…LOTS of home content is on the horizon and I’m chomping at the bit to take it on! Like I said, I will write in depth about the back story of this move in a future post, but please know that while we are SO sad to leave our peeps here in Charlotte, that this next step has been on our hearts for a while and God has been so faithful to us each step of the way. Please keep us in your prayers, we would be so grateful. We cannot wait to bring you with us as we embark on this next chapter of our lives! All of our love, Dan, Mallory, Landry & Lawson The original post with all of these outfit details can be found HERE.
