What I REALLY Bought for Christmas Gifts! December 30, 2015 | Now that all of the gifts have been opened, I thought that I would share with you guys what I thought were the best Christmas gifts of 2015 and what I really bought for my friends and family. Gift Guides are amazing sources of inspiration, but often times they are based solely upon my personal taste. The fun part of shopping for Christmas gifts is taking into consideration other peoples tastes, lifestyle and hobbies, right? So here’s a peek at what I gifted my friends and family this year…hoping to share some inspiration with you guys for future gifting and there are also quite a few pieces that are now on sale…win win! Babysitter | Kendra Scott Necklace (on sale) I actually got her the color specific to her college, which she loved. Dance Teachers | Volcano Hand Cream (so inexpensive!) I did a happy dance when I found out that my favorite scent now comes in hand cream and is perfect for a small gift! School Teachers | Monogram Mug + Mini Volcano Candle I put the candle in the mug and added a Starbucks gift card for little gifts for Landry’s school teachers. I LOVE it on my handbag and my girlfriends totally agreed! Gold Zebra Dish A no-brainer gift that can be used as a bed-side trinket tray or styling accessory. Purple Tassel Earrings At $13, these earrings were a super stylish gift to pass out to girlfriends this year. Coffee Table Books One of my favorite gifts to give! I simply wrap a beautiful ribbon around them and place a sprig of evergreen in the bow and call it a day. I love THIS ONE for the interior lover and THIS ONE for the fashion gal! Sister | Funnel Neck Sweater (on sale) + Tassel Bracelets (on sale) My sister is a busy mom of two young babies and I love the functionality of this sweater. It’s a tunic length and lightweight, so it’s really easy to wear. Sister-in-Law | Gold Earrings + Roll Tab Tunic (on sale) Both of these items are my personal favorites that I wear very often, so I thought that my SIL (who is a busy mom to 3 girls) might really like too. Brother-in-Law | Under Armor Shorts He’s really in to cross fit and these shorts are a great lightweight option Brother | Coffee Maker + Flannel Shirt (on sale) My little brother is still in college and just got his own house, so this brew and go coffee maker is perfect for him to grab and head to class. I love that it brews right in to an insulated travel mug! He also loves these J. Crew Factory flannel shirts, so I got him a few new colors. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. It comes in a rainbow of colors and just went on sale too! Both her and my mom love jammies, so this beautiful floral print pair went to them both. Mom | Hooded Tunic (on sale) | Jammies (on sale) I got my mom the same sweater as my sister just in a different color, which they both loved. This sweater is such an amazing staple to gift to someone of any age (especially yourself) and has since been marked down big time. Dad | Fit Bit Zip My dad has never been one to wear a watch but is really into his health lately, so this new Fit Bit Zip is PERFECT for him as it clips right on to his belt (or bra if you’re a woman) and keeps track of everything just like a regular Fit Bit. Surprsise! | Custom Framed Art This was certainly the hit of Christmas! I took this photo of my parents and their grands a few months ago and had always intended on surprising them with a framed print, but Framebridge really knocked my socks off with how it turned out. I simply sent the digital file in specified the size and the frame and they took it from there. I chose 11×14 for the print alone so the whole piece is much larger and it was only $100 WITH FREE SHIPPING! Y’all this is such an amazing gift, if you haven’t checked them out, now is absolutely the time! I hope that you guys enjoyed this! I think that it’s always fun to see what people really bought during the Holidays! Since our little family exchanges gifts on New Years Morning (once we are all back in Charlotte), I didn’t share what was really under the tree for myself, the hubs or Landry…but if it’s something you’d like to see, I’m happy to share! I really didn’t give a list this year, so I have no idea what Santa has up his sleeve….hmmmm! You guys seemed to love the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale…dying to know what you bought?? Seems like the most popular items were the Sequin Pants, Roll-tab Tunic (see above, I also got it for my SIL!), and the Cowl Neck Sweater that my mom got me for Christmas! All are still in stock if you haven’t shopped them yet…see the full post HERE or a round up of my favs below: JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content.
