Amazon Fashion Haul | December! December 13, 2018 | Thank you to Amazon for sponsoring this content. Hi Friends! So happy to see you here again for another fun Amazon Fashion Haul! This month I focused on less Holiday and more so pieces that you could wear through the rest of Winter (as well as some KILLER deals!). If you need some sequin inspo, there’s an Amazon NYE post coming soon too! So, this month it’s all about stylish sweaters, versatile tops and even a few cute pants to carry you through the next few months. I really edited down this post to show the best of the best, listed the Top 5 sellers from November, broke down my favorite Amazon deals and also listed the Top 10 Gifts according to what you guys have purchased. I tried to make this post as informative as possible, in hopes of making it a one stop shop for all things Amazon in December! This slouchy mock neck tunic is almost a dead ringer dupe for this much more expensive $148 Free People pullover. I’ve been looking at the FP one for over a year and just could never spend $150 on it. Thankfully Amazon swoops in to the rescue because this ivory sweater is GOOD! I’ve worn it twice just this week and it’s been the perfect throw-on-and-go sweater that’s warm and equally as cute on. Trust me and grab multiple colors in this one, at under $50 I’m betting it sells out. Mock Neck Pullover (Free People dupe) | Wearing a S Initially when I ordered this one I thought that it was more of a ribbed sweater, so I was a little surprised when I felt that it was more of a cotton sweatshirt. The surprise turned in to sheer excitement when I saw how dang cute it was on, with the perfect ruffle details. Another comfy AND cute piece that you could easily wear to carpool with joggers or with jeans for everyday around town. Ruffle Sweatshirt | Wearing a S This V Neck sweater was one of the things from my initial order that I was most excited about, the good news is that it didn’t disappoint at all! It’s insanely well made and rivals the quality of anything I’ve found at department stores and I love the fashion play of a varsity sweater look mixed with leopard. Another one that I think will sell out super fast, so grab your size!! It also comes in a black version, which is great with your Winter greys, blacks and even good for mixing in pops of color. Leopard V Neck Sweater | Wearing a S At under $15, this sweater was a pleasant surprise! The balloon sleeves and versatile neckline make it a total winner and super functional in your closet. Here are two ways to wear it: Grey Sweater Two Ways | Wearing a S (Under $15!) Found THE CUTEST camo sweatshirt this month and I’m actually wearing it IRL as I type out this post. Today I have it paired with army green jeans and love the look. I like that this one is a little more fitted and flattering and can be worn not only for super casual but also for dressing up a little with cute jeans and even a chambray shirt layered under. Camo Sweatshirt | Wearing a S Amen for cute velvet joggers! These are great for staying cozy around your house when you have guests over and can’t really stay in PJs all day- these are a great alternative! Cute with a plain tee or even dressed up with some festive sequins! Velvet Joggers | Wearing a S This month I found two WONDERFUL basic pieces: This turtleneck and these sueded black jeans! The turtleneck is amazing quality (thicker, stretchy and soft) and has a great body-skimming fit making it a perfect base layer. The jeans are one of the only pair that have ever worked for me from Amazon! I love the different, yet still uber comfy texture of them and the fit is so flattering for the under $30 price. They come in a ton of great colors, too! Grey Turtleneck (wearing a S) | Black Skinnies (Wearing a 4) I threw this poncho over the base layers that I’m wearing in the photo above and absolutely love this outfit. I actually wore it to a girls gathering this week and felt cute but still comfy, which it my ideal outfit. The poncho is long enough to wear with leggings and i love the relaxed neck and armholes, making it great for layering. Grey Poncho | Wearing the S/M I reviewed this cape back in September and have loved it so much that I’ve used it on multiple gift guides. A few of you asked me to try it on again, so here ya go. I have it layered over the same turtleneck and jeans as above and I really like the whole look. At under $30, it makes a wonderful gift, too! Leopard Poncho | One Size There was a leopard chiffon top in October’s post that was a HUGE hit (see it HERE), so I decided to give another silhouette a try. This one is loose and flowy and drapes off the shoulder a bit. It’s right up my alley and I was excited to add it to my closet (especially front tucked into my favorite black jeans), but the silhouette may not be for everyone. Chiffon Leopard Top | O/S This velvet dress is more of a tunic, but I thought that it was so cute paired with jeans or leggings and boots. It feels festive and is form flattering. Not to mention, the price is amazing! Velvet Tunic | Wearing a M (would have preferred a L) This cape top is hands down my favorite piece from the haul and makes my TOP 5 (of ever!) list easily! It’s so so beautiful on and looks super stylish with minimal effort. I wore it to a Holiday party styled just like this and felt so confident, without wearing a super fussy outfit. Luckily, this silhouette can be worn year around and is easily dressed up or down. I text all of my girlfriends about it right away and now, collectively, we have one in each color to shuffle around. I giggled when I saw a super similar one at a department store for $600! Cape Top | Wearing a S (slightly snug across the bust) | Statement Necklace I tried to also mix in a few versatile work tops this month and was very happy with the two to follow. This ruffle chiffon top is classic yet still interesting. It’s great for layering a blazer over or wearing with pants or a skirt. Ruffle Front Chiffon Top | Wearing a S Also really liked this red ruffle top and thought that it would not only be great for work but also for the Holidays. Red Satin Top | Wearing a S This coat is having a major moment and I’ve seen it pop up on my Facebook a few times over the past few weeks. I’ve had no less than 10 of you message me asking for a review of it, so I happily obliged. I’m sure that it looks DARLING on many people, but it’s just not for me. It’s very oversized (even in the small), super puffy and I felt a little like a Yeti wearing it. Don’t get me wrong, I think that it’s much more reasonable and functional (and could actually be cute) if you live in a super cold climate where wearing something like this is necessary. I’d look a little silly wearing this around Dallas and I was burning up just wearing it for 5 minutes. I wish that it had worked for me 🙁 If you do need a more lightweight, form flattering coat, I love this packable puffer from Amazon. I talked all about why I think it’s great in September’s Haul!
