Affordable Workwear for Spring! March 28, 2019 | One of the most requested blog topics that I get from you guys is covering more workwear or Sunday Best clothing options! One of the best retailers that I’ve found lately doing workwear SO well is JCPenney and today I’m partnering with them to show three different affordable workwear options to refresh your workwear and Sunday Best wardrobe just in time for Spring. Not only are these looks very on trend with the silhouettes and prints, but the prices for the quality cannot be beat. If you haven’t shopped JCPenney in a while, I can assure you that these pieces will impress you! Workwear for Spring with JCPenney | Pleated Skirt Sleeveless Satin Bow Neck Top (S, TTS) | Pleated Skirt (S, could have sized down) | Similar Sunnies | Similar Heels This combination was so so pretty and really each piece could function multiple ways in your closet. The bright geometric print of the skirt is so on trend and the accordion pleat details make it feminine and flattering. I also love that it’s a pull on skirt with the elastic waistband….because who doesn’t like elastic waistbands?! I paired it with this darling satin bow neck top and really love the effortless look of this outfit! Other ideas for styling these pieces: Skirt: with a chambray button up tucked in, with a black tank to dress it down, with a pink long sleeve blouse Bow Neck Top: dress it down with cute jeans, wear it with wide leg crops Workwear for Spring with JCPenney | Wide Leg Crops Mock Turtle Neck (S, TTS) | Printed Wide Leg Crops (S, size down in these) | Similar Heels | Similar Tote This look was a fun fashion play on Spring workwear and the good news is that it’s as comfortable as it is cute! Wide leg crops are a huge trend going into the Spring and Summer and I love the silhouette because it’s flattering on so many women. I also love that this is a trend that easily plays into your office wardrobe and can be a versatile new pant to pair back to your workwear tops. I chose this gorgeous print and styled them back to a ribbed mock turtleneck. Both pieces come in other solids and prints, too! Other ideas for styling these pieces: Mock Turtleneck: tucked into high waisted jeans, tucked into a skirt Wide Leg Crops: with a chambray button up tucked in, add a chic black blazer, with a black tee to dress it down Workwear for Spring with JCPenney | Polka Dot Wrap Dress Polka Dot Wrap Dress (wearing a 4, TTS) | Similar Sunnies | Similar Heels This ruffled wrap dress was definitely my favorite look because honestly what’s not to love? It’s such a darling and feminine silhouette that I can see working for work, Easter or really any Spring festivity. It’s a functional wrap that gives you great shape and the ruffled neckline and high low hem add some beautiful interest. Other beautiful prints in this style: I had a blast styling these multi-functional workwear pieces and was so happy with the quality, fashion and price points that JCPenney is offering. I think that you guys will be really impressed at how easy they make updating workwear and how budget friendly they are as well. Here are some go-to brands to search: Worthington A.N.A. Ren says March 28, 2019 at 6:23 PM The dress is beautiful and I could see wearing it to a shower, bridal luncheon or a wedding. But that neckline just seems too low for any job I can think of! Has anyone else mentioned that?
Style Your Senses says March 29, 2019 at 9:49 AM Hey Ren! So many women work in different work environments now, so I am able to cater to lots of dress requirements. Hopefully the variety was helpful 😉
