Hi! I’m so glad that you’ve found my little piece of the web! My name is Mallory and I’m a Texas fashion blogger and the voice behind Style Your Senses, which I write as a Life + Style blog hoping to prove to women everywhere that living stylish life doesn’t have to cost of fortune.

I currently live in Dallas, TX with my hubby and 4 year old daughter Landry Kate (otherwise known as “LK” here on the blog). We are expecting another sweet girl in the Spring and we cannot wait to expand into a family of 4.

I have a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Business from LSU and I knew from a very young age that expressing myself through clothing was something that I was passionate about. I grew up in a super small town in Louisiana, and after college I decided to give “big city life” a whirl. After a short time in NYC, I settled in Dallas, where I soon met my husband. During my time there, I worked on a corporate buying team for a major big box retailer, giving me a solid foundation to begin a life-long career in fashion.

When we decided to uproot to Charlotte for my husband’s job, I left my corporate career in the Lone Star State and traded in my Excel spreadsheets for diapers as our first daughter was born on a few months after the cross country move to Charlotte. Settling into my newfound role of “mommy” I soon learned that, while I so enjoyed staying home with my daughter, I also needed to continue to foster my creative passions. I began typing away at this computer and journaling our move, our new home and our new daughter under a blog called “Charming in Charlotte.” Little did I know, people began to read it. Once I realized that I wanted to really pursue blogging on more of a full time basis, I re-branded to Style Your Senses and have never looked back.

I am so incredibly passionate about this piece of the web and really look at it as a community of women whom I adore. I seek to produce content that’s informative, useful and fun, but my #1 priority is to keep this space relatable and realistic. I write about fashion and home decor that’s budget friendly and still on-trend, share some real life moments (the good and the bad) and have opened up about motherhood, faith and nearly everything in between.
