Instagram Roundup 5.15.15 May 15, 2015 | TGIF, friends! Here’s a little look back at our week via the lens of Instagram. I’ve been rounding these up every Friday so that I can share more with you guys who aren’t on Insta and also go into a little more detail about what we were doing, wearing, thinking, etc. Instagram is fun, but not as personal as the blog, right? What do you guys think? yay or nay on the roundups? LOVING these shorts from J. Crew. They are pull on and elastic waist but are still flattering. I’m obsessed with them and they are an easy piece to throw on for warm months. Oh and they are on MaaaaaJor sale! JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Had the best time supporting the “Women Build” campaign with Lowes + Habitat for Humanity + my blogger bestie Summer! We quite literally helped to build a home (and by build I mean we were given power tools and I was extra sore the next day!) for a darling woman who had dreamed of home ownership her entire life. Her dream was finally coming true and I am so honored to be such a small part of it. Read more about the campaign and how you can get involved HERE. Kate Spade is literally killing it with their new collection. Leopard dots + flamingos in one collection?? Be still my heart! JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. We celebrated Mother’s Day at the zoo and had an absolute blast. Landry rode a horse all by herself and has not stopped talking about it since. Being with my little family is the best gift I could have been given, regardless of where we were. Also, the flamingos. I liked hanging with them as it’s obvious I’m crushing on their species lately. We rocked our trusty chambray dresses to the zoo and on Monday I rounded up my favs for mom and toddler and shared my zoo exploring essentials. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Top is under $30!!! JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Lots of fun things happened BTS this week and these little guys all made cameos! Overall, we had a pretty bad week in toddler land. Not sure if it’s just a phase but she’s been off this week behavior wise and it very much took a toll on my mama spirits. On top of that, I’ve been half heartedly trying to potty train her for a few weeks now and it’s just not clicking. Thanks for all of your sweet words and advice via Insta. I think that I have a plan and I will keep you guys updated. I DID find a gel nail that I LOVE for summer (shown here) and it’s “Funny Bunny” by OPI. have a feeling I won’t be straying far from it this summer. Finding the perfect neutral sandal is always a high priority for me in the summer. I need a stylish shoe that can go with virtually anything and be thrown on without given a second thought as I’m running out of the door. I rounded up my favs from Nordstrom and ended up choosing THESE and absolutely love them. The gold dresses them up just a little but I can still throw them on with shorts and a tank and feel great.
