Summer Floral Maxi

Today I’m showing you guys another outfit that I was able to put together with some amazing pieces from Corncord Mills! I got both the dress and bag in this photos at Saks Off 5th and was totally impressed with their designers and discounts. I loved this floral (shocking, right?!) maxi for summer and think that I will be able to easily dress it up or down depending on the occasion…oh and I scored it for under $70!

The answer is you won’t ever have a perfect balance. The good stuff lies in the grace of knowing that you CAN be fulfilled by both simultaneously, but you’ll never be 100% at both on the same day. It comes in waves and seasons, in hills and valleys. It’s a constant seesaw. It’s okay to settle into the imperfect and claim victory on the mountains but know that you are still a great mom + business woman in the valleys. If your inbox goes unchecked while you’re out at the pool with your kids- that’s ok. If you feed your kids Chick-fil-A for 3 days straight as you celebrate record sales at your business l- that’s ok too.

You are His. Quit being so hard on yourself and chase those dreams if you have them, mama 💕

What I Wore: Floral Maxi for Spring

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of a good floral, so I’m thoroughly enjoying the floral fashion trend! I love long, feminine maxi dresses and find myself dressing them up or down for any Spring or Summer occasion. Showing how I dressed up this watercolor floral maxi for a summer evening out. Also love it for summer wedding. It was so fun to play up the bold colors in the dress with bright accessories, they ended up balancing each other out. This particular maxi dress is one that I scored at Marshalls, but I rounded up all of my favorite (and equally affordable) floral maxis below…
