One of the questions that I get asked the most:
“How do you balance work and motherhood”
The answer is you won’t ever have a perfect balance. The good stuff lies in the grace of knowing that you CAN be fulfilled by both simultaneously, but you’ll never be 100% at both on the same day. It comes in waves and seasons, in hills and valleys. It’s a constant seesaw. It’s okay to settle into the imperfect and claim victory on the mountains but know that you are still a great mom + business woman in the valleys. If your inbox goes unchecked while you’re out at the pool with your kids- that’s ok. If you feed your kids Chick-fil-A for 3 days straight as you celebrate record sales at your business l- that’s ok too.

You are His. Quit being so hard on yourself and chase those dreams if you have them, mama 💕

Committed to using reels to document our Summer adventures! First up, @hyattlostpines — we booked this on Tuesday and really didn’t know what to expect. Safe to say it exceeded our expectations. It’s easy to get to but feels very secluded along the beautiful Colorado river. It’s rustic and laid back and *very* family friendly. Here’s all the fun we squeezed in in 3 nights there. Not pictured— golf for daddy, spa for mommy and kids club for the gals one afternoon. Fun was had by all! If you are in #DFW, #ATX, or #HTX this is a great escape! So thankful to all of the brave men and women who protect and defend our freedoms here and abroad. We are eternally grateful for your service and sacrifice 🇺🇸Thankful for a weekend to unplug and to also look around and recognize so much good that still exists in this world— nature, old school games, family time and s’mores.
