Lace Peplum + Denim Shorts

I hinted at this outfit on Instagram a few days back and am finally pulling the post together. I’ve been really really loving the juxtaposition of pairing dainty lace with distressed denim this season and love how this lace peplum and my favorite denim shorts look together for a casual summer #ootd. This top is under $100 and can easily be dressed up (think blush pencil skirt) or down (even with distressed denim and a blazer into Fall) and you guys already know my love for these shorts..

How cute is this deerskin tie choker?? It’s from one of my favorite local boutiques and I will share more about them and this necklace next Tuesday!

It comes in waves and seasons, in hills and valleys. It’s a constant seesaw. It’s okay to settle into the imperfect and claim victory on the mountains but know that you are still a great mom + business woman in the valleys. If your inbox goes unchecked while you’re out at the pool with your kids- that’s ok. If you feed your kids Chick-fil-A for 3 days straight as you celebrate record sales at your business l- that’s ok too.
