The Ultimate Father’s Day Gift Guide May 31, 2016 | Well, Hi there on this Tuesday! How are you guys recovering from the long weekend? Ours was so so relaxing and so needed. We toyed around with the idea of skipping town and heading to the beach, but ended up staying here in Charlotte and I am SO glad that we did. We definitely had our fair share of fun, but the weekend didn’t feel rushed and that was amazing. Today we are all going to get ahead on our Father’s Day shopping, shall we?! Given that tomorrow is the first day of June, this is definitely something that you’ll want to get taken care of before you leave for vacation! This year Father’s Day falls on 6/19, so mark your calendars…we are right at about 3 weeks out! I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom (my hubby’s absolute favorite spot to shop for nearly anything!) and am dishing all about my top picks for Father’s Day. I’ve separated things into two guides…one for weekend wear (think active guy) and another into weekday (great workwear for the guys)… The Ultimate Father’s Day Gift Guide JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Dan is now spoiled by their Calibrate and Nordstrom Men’s Shop shirts and refuses to wear anything else. Lucky for me, they are well under $100 each (full price) and they always have an on-trend assortment of colors and patterns. Two | Leather Dress Watch This leather watch is understated overall, but the gold frame makes it appropriate to pair with slacks and a button up for work…such a classic piece. Three | RIMOWA Aluminum Carry-on If your hubby needs a new piece of luggage, this is certainly one to look at. With built in (and flexible) interior dividers it makes staying organized so easy and it’s made out of 100% Aluminum, so it’s definitely durable. See the full line HERE. Four | Jack Black Facial Set This 3 piece men’s facial care set includes face wash, moisturizer and beard oil…all of the things that a modern man needs for a beautiful mug 🙂 Five | Driving Mocs These are comfortable and a great style to wear in to the office on a casual day or on the weekends. An overall great shoe to add to any guys closet. Six | Power Stays My hubby will tell you that these babies are a total game changer for those of you guys who wear dress shirts. They are magnetic collar stays (and instead of the flimsy plastic ones), give collars a nice stiff peak that lasts all day. He’s given these as countless gifts..give them a try! Seven | 58mm Aviator Sunnies These are so super sexy on guys. Not quite a traditional aviator, paired with the gold rim make them dressy enough to wear with a suit and such a great frame for a guy’s face structure. Eight | Wing Tip Dress Shoe Another shoe that’s been tried and love by the hubs. I think that he’s on his 3rd pair in 6ish years, which really speaks to the life of the shoe (given that he wears them 3-4 times a week for 10+ hours a day). At first, I choked at the price, but they have worked out to be completely worth it and he’s even been able to re-sole them at least once before getting a new pair. I should add that he’s REALLY rough on shoes by nature and the tread of his feet. Nine | Hugo Boss Trim Fit Suit This is MY favorite suit. I truly love a man in a suit and think that this one absolutely fits the best. Worth the investment and Nordstrom will even tailor it for free, so it comes out looking like a custom suit for a fraction of the price Ten | Leather Laptop Briefcase A nice leather laptop bag is a must, especially if your guy travels. This leather one is really timeless and will hold up for years to come. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Turn on your JavaScript to view content One | Polarized Sport Sunglasses I got my hubby these last year and they have been a great purchase. A nice pair of polarized sunglasses that have a sporty feel and are perfect for the golf course, pool, or even a run. Two | Nike Flat Front Golf Shorts The hubs bought a pair of these for himself a few weeks back and I love the way that they fit. A modern golf short (i.e. flat front and very clean) and long enough for taller guys to wear without looking silly. They come in a ton of colors and I think that I’m going to get him this navy color as a second pair because I like them so much. Three | Nike “Free” Running Shoe An easy and breathable running shoe that also doubles as an “athleisure” shoe for running around on the weekends. Four | Bose Bluetooth Speaker These little babies are such a great thing to have handy for the pool or a backyard BBQ…plus the sound on the BOSE speaker can’t be beat. Five | S’well Insulated Water Bottle You guys already know how much I love S’well bottles and just yesterday my hubby totally snuck one of mine to the pool. No sir. That means he’s certainly getting one for Father’s Day. Six | Water Resistant SPF 45 My little family is pretty fair skinned over here so sunscreen is a big deal for us. I love that this Jack Black sunscreen is super duper water resistant so that I don’t have to worry if my hubby has remembered to reapply on the golf course or at the pool. Seven | Fitbit Blaze Smart Watch I told you guys that I got one of these for our Anniversary and the hubs has really really been eyeing it. Like wanting to try it on, figure out all of the functions and asks lots of questions..all of the signs that he wants one too. They really are super cool, and while I don’t take the reading for Bible, it’s a great tool to understand your heart rate and overall movement…which was a huge wakeup call for me! Eight | Adidas Slide Sandal These classics are a no fail gift for guys. Perfect for the pool, beach, or even to and from the gym. You can’t beat the ease and comfort of a slide on sandal…but please just don’t let him wear them with tall socks. #ijustcant Nine | Peter Millar Golf Shirt If I was going to label a #1 gift between both of these guides, it would be this golf shirt. I get my hubby one each year for either our Anniversary or Father’s Day and it’s always a winner. He claims them to be his absolute favorite shirts in his closet. They are by far the softest golf shirts that I’ve ever felt and are great for a day on the course or just a casual weekend look. See all of the different styles (many on sale) HERE. If your guy likes a more trim fit shirt, size down one in these. Loving this Father’s Day Gift Guide? Click here now for more of my favorite gifts!!
