Anniversary Sale Mens Picks + A Favorite Reviews!

You guys…did you have so much fun shopping the Anniversary Sale yesterday??? I know that I certainly did!! I was able to score all of the top items on my list and I’ll be sharing more of my favorites by category as well as fitting room reviews over the next few days. I was blown away by how many of you requested reviews on certain items and also some of my favorites in certain categories. Ok here are my favorites for all of the guys in your life! During the Anniversary Sale, we have done the same thing for 4 years now, we plan for it and know it’s coming and the hubby is always able to refresh his work wardrobe and prepare for Fall. We always get him THIS suit and try to alternate colors each year. It’s absolutely the best, slim fit suit and Nordstrom always offers free alterations, so it ends up being near a custom fit suit for such an incredible price!! See the rest of my favs below….

Here’s one of my favorite outfits from my #NSale fitting room diary. Both pieces are UNDER $100 (combined!) and I cannot rave about these jeans enough!

**Can we take on a little off-topic subject? Let’s talk about washes on denim. It’s my serious pet peeve when denim is “dark” but then lighter right on the thighs. Okay, hello thunder thighs…I feel like it’s SO unflattering. I do not need anyone to focus in on my thighs, I don’t care what the situation my be. **

Now, on to these jeans because they are truly a DARK DENIM. No fading or “washing” in unflattering areas….just dark and slimming all over. (AMEN!) They are also a little bit higher waisted and have a mid size flare leg. They are truly my dream jean…and I almost fainted when I saw that they were on sale for $65!!!! I scooped them up so quick that I think the sales girl was a little frightened by my excitement lol. And really this top, there’s no question I needed it.
