Our Weekend + Exciting News! November 11, 2013 | Although my weekend full of laundry, cleaning, and oraganizing was less than glam, we did manage to get out and do a few things. I was on a mission to get my life/house in order this weekend and literally feel like I have not stopped. Am I the only one who might have (ahem) neglected the rest of my house trying to pull together the One Room Challenge room?! eeeek. Friday night LK went to her first ‘Cats game of the season. She was in heaven with everyone around her clapping. Clapping is her absolute favorite thing to do so it was perfect. Clapped her little heart out. Out to dinner and a little window shopping before the LSU game. Cutest cheerleader award? Check yes. Still love my Tigers…and still hate ‘Bama. Sunday LK and I were at the grocery store before 8am to get everything for our gumbo. It’s honestly the perfect thing on a chilly fall Sunday. And my house smelled like home. And I like that. Browsing through Michaels and came across these little gems. How absolutely adorable? I took home one of each and they will be the decorations for LK’s playroom tree. Won’t they be perfect?! Also got lots of poms and sparkly tinsel…I can’t wait to see her face! I also caught up on tons of edits and design projects….whew! Normally I don’t post photography on here but I am super partial to these two kiddos! Sweet Nicholas. LK’s main squeeze. He loves her. My sweet baby Annie! Honestly does it get any cuter?! And lastly, I DO have some exciting news! ((No, I am not pregnant!)) I accepted a position with Project Nursery as their Sales Manager! Of course, Project Nursery is a brand that I have mentioned often on here, as I completely fell in love with their concept and site when I posted LK’s nursery to their website. The feedback was so sweet and I even got to know the women behind the site a bit during the process. When I saw job postings come up, I couldn’t send my resume in fast enough! Truthfully, I love love love being a stay at home mom, but the one thing that I can say I miss is the social interaction with adults that a working environment provides. I feel like there have been some major answered prayers because now I can do BOTH. The position is PT and all from home! The team is scattered across the US and (for the most part) are also SAHMs like myself. I am beyond excited to get started and can’t wait to work with the team and all of their amazing brands! Make sure that you are following them on Facebook, Pinterest, and their Blog to see what I’m up to! Happy Monday sweet friends! xo
