Transitional Dress(ing) February 11, 2014 | If you’re anything like me the itch to buy fun new summer clothes began a few weeks back. It’s right around the next few weeks every.single.year that I can’t help myself and splurge on summer pieces that I won’t be able to wear for at least two more months…and more than likely don’t like them by the time I am actually able to wear them. This year, I am reigning in my urge to buy shorts and tanks, and instead buying truly transitional pieces, namely dresses. I have been perusing through my favorite sites and was actually pleasantly surprised by the amount of transitional dresses out there. Throw on a pair of tights with booties and a scarf to wear them now, and lighten up with a pair of gold gladiators in the warmer months…you can even wear your staple accessories throughout. You’ll be able to get so much more use out of the items and can justify an early treat (or two!). What do you think? Have you been bitten by the bug to buy too? Jess says February 11, 2014 at 2:59 PM I love that J.Crew dress and the Zara dress looks like one that LOFT just put online for sale today. It was 50% off new arrivals and it has more shape than the Zara one if you are interested. 🙂
