Easy-Peasy Peach Cobbler August 12, 2014 | Oh hi, it’s just me over here writing about cobbler again. Can you tell it’s my favorite summer time dessert?! Since peaches are in season right now (and one of my favorite fruits!) I thought that I’d let you guys in on a huge secret. See, I didn’t really think that this trick was a secret, but over the years I’ve made my peach cobbler for countless people now and no one knew the trick…so here it is…the trick to making an amazing peach cobbler with only 4 ingredients, in only 4 steps, and in under 30 minutes total. Signed. Sealed. Delivered. Trust me, pick up some Farmers Market peaches ASAP and make this for guests (or just for your significant other) and there won’t be a piece left…promise. I even baked it in a tin dish the other day to bring over with ice cream to welcome our new neighbors, truly a “go-to” dessert in our house. So easy right?! And actually really hard to mess up. You don’t like a lot of crust on your peach cobbler? Then don’t use as much cake mix. Like it really crusty? Use the whole box and add a few more pads of butter. You can also mix in berries. I’ve also experimented with all sorts of peaches and they have all worked great. Try it. Trust me. P.S. – In case you missed my other cobbler post, you can find an easy Blackberry Cobbler recipe here.

Barbara says September 9, 2014 at 1:16 AM Mallory, even more yummy looking than the cobbler is your dish. Can I ask what pattern it is? When I married 30 years ago I bought a very plain pattern but, honey, I want anything but plain now!! Thanks!!
Bellani Vitela says October 21, 2014 at 3:01 PM Have you tried using apples? Just wondering, and had to ask.
Anonymous says October 30, 2014 at 9:31 PM Just tried this with Granny Smith apples that I had on hand. Didn't top with sugar, but instead used cinnamon, a little pumpkin pie spice and a few teaspoons of vanilla. Added the full box of cake mix and the sliced butter. It was rather dry! I'm a very poor cook, so maybe some liquid was needed, because peaches are much juicer than apples.
