A Super Easy DIY Fall Wreath Using a Wood Frame! September 11, 2014 | Sharing an easy and fun DIY Fall wreath with you today. I know, I know wreaths have been done time and time again…burlap, moss, grape vine, styrofoam….you name it, it’s been done. But each Fall, I get to itch to create something new to adorn our front door and celebrate my favorite time of the year. A few weeks back I stumbled upon the clearance section at my local Michaels and found a huge assortment of these unfinished wooden decorative frames. They were marked down to 50 cents/each and my super compulsive self bought about 15 with no idea how I was going to use them. Finally, as I was plotting out our Fall door, I realized what a great frame these guys would make to build my Fall wreath upon. This DIY Fall Wreath was such an easy project and literally look less than 20 minutes. I love that it’s not a traditional look, but is still fun and inviting for a Fall door. An Easy and Fun DIY Fall Wreath Items needed for your DIY Fall Wreath: Wooden frame (they still have them in their regular assortment at both Hobby Lobby and Michaels) Seasonal floral picks Floral wire Burlap ribbon Decorative ribbon Wooden monogram letter Chalkboard ornament Hot glue How to Make your own DIY Fall Wreath: Spray paint frame the color of your choice Arrange the floral picks (and chalkboard) as you’d like them, then one by one, secure them to the frame using the floral wire. Make a double bow using layered ribbon and secure with hot glue at center then floral wire onto frame. Attach the wide burlap ribbon onto the back of the frame using hot glue (or staple gun) and then hot glue monogram on top of burlap. Attach ribbon to hang the wreath on either side of the top of the frame. What do you guys think of this DIY Fall wreath, easy right?? This project came in under 20 minutes and well under $20, given my clearance score and using coupons for the floral picks! Cheers to cooler weather! The rest of my Fall doorstep will be revealed later this month during another round of the Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours…Stay tuned!! Loving this DIY Fall wreath?
