Fall Workwear from JCPenney! October 25, 2019 | *This post is sponsored by JCPenney and ShopStyle I’m thrilled to partner with JCPenney on another post today, because you guys seem to be LOVING the style and prices that they bring to the table, and I totally agree! I’m sharing more chic workwear options today that can really function in the workplace, but can also be mixed and matched to be worn for other things like church, casual, or even special occasions. Here are my workwear favorites from October! Left: Puff Sleeve Knit Top (S)| Pencil Skirt (S)| Heels (9)| Earrings | Bag Right: Tie Neck Top (S)| Pencil Skirt (S)| Heels (9)| Earrings | Bag First up is this coordinates set that’s totally WOW! I saw it online and, to be honest, had really high hopes for it but was worried that it may not fit me cute. Let’s just say I was more than pleasantly surprised when I put it on and it was a total statement set that was not only comfortable (poly, cotton, spandex blend), but it also delivered some major style points! The understated, tonal leopard print is perfect for the workplace and even when worn together it didn’t feel like too much. Like I mentioned, I was intrigued by the sleeves on the top but didn’t know how they’d look on me and now I want everything in my closet to have these statement sleeves! The entire set is currently on sale for well under $50 and I’d say DON’T WALK, RUN to grab it in your size! P.S. I’m wearing a Small in both top and bottom and love the way they fit. Just enough stretch. Puff Sleeve Knit Top | Pencil Skirt | Heels | Earrings | Bag Other Styling Ideas (that can all be found at JCPenney): Style the top with: Black Jeans | Black Dress Pants | Black Pencil Skirt | High Waisted Jeans Style the skirt with: Solid Blouse | Graphic Tee | Sweater | Blazer Tie Neck Top | Pencil Skirt | Heels | Earrings | Bag Here’s an idea of how the skirt looks styled on it’s own with this beautiful blue tie neck top. It’s more of a classic workwear look and a great way to mix up the skirt in your wardrobe. Pair it with nearly any of the blouses you already have in your closet and work this blouse in with nearly any bottoms you have already. Both are super affordable pieces, that add some new style to your wardrobe and are actually functional. Two other work to weekend outfits from JCPenney: Camel Sweater | Leopard Skirt | Handbag | Heels Lace Cami | Handbag | Black Skinny Jeans | Heels | Long Cardigan Let me know what other looks you’d like to see styled from JCPenney! I love finding affordable, on-trend pieces there and sharing them with you guys! Also, did you know that they have a buy online and pick up in store option???? Yep, and it’s really really easy and super convenient!
Melissa says October 25, 2019 at 7:52 AM Wow! I’ve been struggling with what to wear to a late November, noon wedding and when I saw that first photo of you I said “that’s it!” My only question/concern is the fabric- is there “sparkle” in it? I’m not going for any shimmer. Dresses are a hard fit for me (and I hate spending much on them) so this may be the perfect solution. I only hope it looks half as good on me.
