Top 10 Most Purchased Items- JULY! August 16, 2018 | Good Morning, sweet friends! Writing this on Thursday from a very very quiet house. I’ve spent most of the week crying into my coffee and have done all the laundry and the dishes and tried to work myself out of the fog that I was in after dropping the girls to their first days of school. Not going to lie, both drop offs were hard in their own rights. Landry herself was excited and basically ran into her classroom, but I cried at the loss of a season of time. I cried happy tears at this new chapter for her and sad tears for no longer having her all to myself. Lawson’s drop off was unexpectedly the hardest. She’s fiercely independent, spunky and very sassy. I imagined her marching into that new room like she owned it and sadly, that wasn’t the case. She was very timid and held on to us tight. She never cried, but I know that she was wondering how in the hell she got bamboozled into this situation?! I’ve been praying all morning that this is the right decision and trying to talk myself out of the inevitable self doubt that floods us mamas upon every decision. Aside from that, I figured that I would try to be productive on my first official full “work week” so I dove right into a blog post! I hadn’t done a big most purchased items recap up in quite a while, so here goes! These are what have been the most purchased items amongst SYS readers. I love these posts, always fun to dig down and see what you guys really like! Top 10 Most Purchased Items: one: Wedge Sneakers / These were definitely the most purchased item of the Anniversary sale and are actually back in stock in a few sizes! BUT, I went ahead and also purchased my wedge sneakers from last year in THIS new color and cannot wait to get them in! Such a great neutral and based on how much I wore my grey ones, another color is a no brainer! two: Perforated Booties / Yep, knew these would be high on the list too! Such a great bootie for Fall, especially for us gals who have “Fall” until December (aka they’re breathable). These are comfortable and the pointed toe is super flattering and really elongates the leg! All sizes are now back in stock! three: Black Ric Rac Dress / I was honestly blown away by the hundreds of you who bought this dress! I mean not really because it’s so dang cute, but I was more so happy that you were willing to buy clothes online from Target. Should I start doing more Target hauls? PS: I still think that this is a great end of Summer dress (especially for the price), but make sure to size down four: Convertible Fleece Sweater / One of my most worn closet items 3 years strong! This is a no brainer and back in stock in all sizes. Make sure to size down, I wear an XS in this one. five: Madewell 10” Rise Skinnies / A bit of a splurge, but one that you will not regret! This 10” rise is a GAME CHANGER ladies and these jeans are universally flattering on nearly everyone that I talk to. If there would be one pair of “splurge” jeans I’d recommend, it would be these. six: Cocoon Hem Cardi | This under $50 cardigan will be one of those Fall pieces that you reach for OVER and OVER. It’s lightweight enough to layer, but lays well so that it doesn’t add bulk. Size down. Available in tons of colors and full stocked. seven: High Rise Skinnines / THE JEANS are back in a clean dark wash with no distressing. Praise! You guys wasted no time snagging them and have sold them out twice now, good news is that they have been restocked in a few sizes! Size down if on the fence. eight: Barefoot Dreams Hooded Cardigan / Another splurge that I KNOW you won’t regret! Holy Smokes this takes comfy loungewear to a whole new level! It’s definitely that thing you put on right when you get home and feel so cozy in. It now comes in a TON of new colors and is fully stocked in all sizes. nine: Thermal Henley / This was one of my favorite basics from the Anniversary Sale! It’s butter soft and super flattering on! I went with the small and it was body skimming in the right way. Great to wear alone or for layering. ten: Nano Puff Jacket | This was my favorite splurge purchase from the sale. I finally treated myself to this jacket because year after year I’ve wished I’d had it to throw on and go. It makes me feel very “carpool” official 😉 Truly a flattering, semi-lightweight and easy jacket to throw on and go! Top 10 Most Purchased Items (Amazon): one: V Neck T Shirt Dress / Totally could have guessed this one too! It’s just abut the easiest, most flattering basic dress that there is and there are tons of ways to style it! Now in a TON new colors and still only $18 two: Racerback Jumpsuit / I’ve seen pics of SO many of you in this jumpsuit and I can say that it WOWS on nearly every body type. This has probably been the Amazon item that I’ve gotten the most positive feedback from. It’s PJ comfy, but will wow you at the same time! Such a winner. I wear a M in it. three: Ruffle Sleeve Top / Another total winner- this little top is feminine and flirty but casual enough to wear on a weekday. One sweet mama wrote me that she hadn’t gotten so many compliments on a top in recent memory! four: Easy Breezy Pullover / I love that this pullover is super sleek and doesn’t feel messy. It’s streamlined and the open side seams have it lay perfectly on the body, especially over leggings. five: Sleeveless Tunic / This would be one piece that I would say nearly every woman could use in her closet. Wear it over anything from jeans to leggings and layer nearly any jacket over it. Great bum coverage and unbeatable price. six: Two Pack Racer Tanks / You guys went crazy over these 2/$20 tanks! What I love it that they are built for athletic wear, but are also great for layering with casual clothes. Just wonderful staples to have on hand! seven: Bell Sleeve Off the Shoulder Top / This little under $20 top was such a winner and now comes in a TON more prints that are great for Fall date nights! eight: Lace Yolk Top / One of me personal favs, this top looks WAY more expensive than it actually is! One reader sent me a snap of her wearing the black one and it’s SO cute on! nine: Core10 Leggings / Amazon’s in house athletic brand that totally smokes all other designer leggings. These are a bit pricey but definitely live up to the hype. ten: Lightweight Joggers / The coziest lightweight joggers that I own. Easy to wear starting now and even through Fall with a hoodie over. The price doesn’t hurt ea What’s Coming | A Few New Purchases to Hit the Blog Soon This Cargo Jacket (size down two sizes) This Camo Vest (I wear the Small) These Flares (Only $45 and so flattering!
