It’s HERE! It’s HERE! Jiggity Jig! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 is LIVE and OPEN TO SHOP for cardholders! As you know, this is my jam. I’ve covered this sale for many many years now and it’s my absolute favorite thing to blog about because I get to connect with so many of you throughout it. But for now I’m going to cut the crap, because you’re here for the deals! Here’s a quick rundown of how this post works and how to shop it efficiently!

-I’ve ONLY outlined my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES from each category. No frills, no fillers, no fluff, just the good stuff here. The items that I’m really passionate about, the ones that I’m personally buying and the ones that I see working for 95% of you! Of course, I liked more pieces from each category, but I feel like the 5 items that I highlight per category as BEST OF THE BEST!

-I’m detailing sizing by each piece but not going into a ton of details because there’s no time for that lol. Just know that I LOVED each piece that I’m sharing here and I personally purchased about 75% of what’s in this post.

One: Steve Madden Perforated Bootie | These are my personal #1 bootie! On Trend, great shape and exactly what my closet needs!

Tw0: Marc Fisher Missi | I love  the leopard, the white and the black suede. Will likely purchase the leopard myself.

Three: Lucky Brand Yabba | Fit TTS and are a wonderful option if you like a wedge bootie. I prefer the Sesame and Blush suede colors in these! Buying Sesame for myself.

Four: Lucky Brand Perma | Although my store didn’t have these in stock, these were one of my top bootie picks because the store is different and a great flat option! Loving this grey leather!

 

Five: Vince Camuto Prevista | These are another great flat option. Just enough style details and in great colors. These ran TTS.

Three: Vince Camuto Kochelda OTK | These are a great basic, everyday option if you’re looking for a “go to” boot! These ran TTS for me.

Four: Hunter Rain Boots (SELL OUT ALERT) | Want new black Hunters???? Get them for UNDER $100 on sale!!! Sizes go fast!

One: Caslon Aiden (SELL OUT ALERT) | TTS, add these to your cart NOW! My most worn shoe of ever. 

Two: Adidas FlashBack (SELL OUT ALERT) | Run TTS, Add to cart NOW! These get PERFECT reviews and are a great sneaker to wear for athleisure!

Three: Blondo Giselle (SELL OUT ALERT) | Another awesome bootie sneaker. These have #momiform written all over them

Four: Cole Haan Grand Prix (SELL OUT ALERT) | An awesome Golden Goose dupe, lightweight and easy to wear. TTS and they get PERFECT Reviews.

Five: Steven Madden Serena | Another great GG Dupe for $59!  but size up .5 for best fit.

One: Madewell 10” High Rise Button Front Denim (SELL OUT ALERT) | Size down one (wearing a 27) and enjoy the amazingness of these jeans! Soft, great flattering fit and a MUST HAVE for $89!!!! Buy the Black TOO!

Two: BP High Waisted Skinny (SELL OUT ALERT) | A clean dark wash with a slight fray hem. A wonderful fit for the $42 price! TTS, wearing a 28 here.

Three: Wit + Wisdom Absolution | Y’all know I LOVE THESE! Size down (these are a 4) . They have a built in elastic band around the entire waist and it makes for a stay put fit that’s comfortable and flattering and PERFECT to chase kids in. If you don’t believe me, check the reviews! They have a ton of washes this year (see them all HERE), but I decided on black.

Four: Caslon Crop Flare | The crop flare is a HUGE trend for Fall to wear with flats, mules and heels. Caslon nailed it with this pair. A clean wash, flattering fit and KILLER price. I have a 28 on in these and thought that they were a little snug. Size up if on the fence.

Five: STS Blue Emma | Didn’t get to try these on, but am always a fan of STS and think that these are another great basic jean for the price! I’d suggest these as a distressed option.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 | Top Picks: Basic Tops

One: Convertible Cardigan (SELL OUT ALERT) | omgggggg this has been a SYS Reader favorite for TWO years now and y’all it’s on Anniversary this year for UNDER $50!!!! WHAT?!?! This version is not quite as long in the bodice, but they other functionality is the exact same. Wear it as a wrap sweater or long waterfall cardigan. It’s uber cozy and perfect for nursing, traveling, lounging, errands…you name it! Buy two colors!

Two: Thermal Long Sleeve Top (SELL OUT ALERT) | I was SO SO unexpectedly impressed with this top. It’s a waffle knit henley and SO cozy. The fit was sort of tomboy sexy if that makes sense and I loved it with the high waisted jeans. For the $24 price, I want multiple colors. I liked the way the small fit!

Three: Hi Low Butter Soft Tunic | Another reader favorite from last year that’s back and better this year (better price too!). Butter soft and great with leggings or jeans. I’m wearing the XS here and would have preferred the S (so TTS). I also love that it now comes in fashion colors.

Four: V Neck Sweater | I was surprised and impressed with sweater! It’s a great basic, great shape and overall a wonderful buy at UNDER $30! On top of it being adorable, it’s equally as cozy!

Five: Muscle Tank (SELL OUT ALERT) | This was a top pick last year (it sold out day one) and it’s back this year! This year’s version is less of a tunic and more suited to go with higher waisted jeans–WHICH I LOVE. For $18, make sure you snag this one.

Other Basics: BP Tee | I buy this every year at $18. Multiple colors. As a layering tank, size down. As a wear alone tee, stay normal size.

 

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 | Top Picks: Cardigans + Jackets

One: Hooded (Faux) Leather Bomber (SELL OUT ALERT) | THIS WAS ONE OF MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PICKS! I adore the fit, the gold hardware and the casual hoodie. It’s an everyday chic jacket that you cannot miss for $65! Runs TTS, this is a Small.

Two: Barefoot Dreams Hooded Cardigan (SELL OUT ALERT) | THIS THING IS A LEGIT DREAM! It feels like Lawson’s lovie and I can actually wear it in public…dreams do some true. I loved this longer + hoodie style the best and I can say with 100% confidence that it’s worth the splurge! Size down for sure though. Legit perfect reviews across the board!

Three: Leith Ribbed Circle Cardi (SELL OUT ALERT) | Leith makes a great cardi every year, but this one is my favorite thus far. The ribbing is a nice detail and the fabric is so so soft. My mom and I both agreed that this was amazing for $45 and both decided on this beautiful blush color. Size down and make sore to grab at least one color. Love THIS ONE too!

Four: BP Tunic Cardigan (SELL OUT ALERT) | They make this one every single year and every single year it sells out. It’s a great tunic length to wear with leggings and is an all around basic the $30 price cannot be beat. Size down (this is an XS).

Five: Cashemere Vest + Poncho | This is more of a fashion pick. I love tunic vests to layer with in the Fall and I splurged on this cashmere one (even though its a steal for cashmere!) and I think that it’s a super chic layering piece to add to your closet. The poncho is also something to consider, too! It’s YUMMY!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 | Top Picks: Activewear

One: Zella High Waisted Leggings | DUH. We buy these EVERY YEAR! These were the best fit yet. I wear them for EVERYTHING and you will not regret buying these for $32! Wearing a M here. Check the THOUSANDS of 5 start reviews for confirmation 😉

Two: Adidas Logo Tee | LOVE this extended armhole tank for $23! Adidas is having a major moment right now and I’m here for it! I’m buying multiple colors in this and I know that it will be a hot item for actually working out and for athleisure. Size down.

Three: Nike Essential Tank | I wear this tank 24/7 as you know. A great buy at this price. I wear a small.

Four: Northface Zip-up Poncho | Ok I’ve been wearing this Northface poncho  for years now and I LOVE this update with the full front zipper. It’s a throw on and go piece that’s amazing for carpool, gym, errands and lounging. Wearing a Small. Shop all Northface on sale HERE

Five: Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket | I don’t have a nano jacket and this year was the year. I loved this chic, black, tailored jacket from Patagonia and feel like I’ll wear it all of the time! Wearing a Small. There are quite a few colors and it gets perfect reviews, too.

Honorable Mention: Spanx Leggings | I love and wear these all of the time (in fact I did a whole post about them HERE) and think that they are a steal on the sale. I tried on the camo to wear with neutral tunic sweaters and really liked them.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 | Top Picks: Pajamas

One: Nordstrom Lingerie Long Pj Set (SELL OUT ALERT) | Another item that you guys KNOW I love and wear year around. These are hands down the best pajamas out there and it’s a wonderful time to stock up at a discount. Go for darker colors to avoid them being see through. Wearing a Small here. Perfect reviews for these too!

Two: Nordstrom Lingerie Short Pj Set (SELL OUT ALERT) | This is the shorts set of the same ones above. Choose based on how you like to sleep. I actually prefer to size up for the shorts here.

Three: UGG Pullover Cozy Poncho | ummmm not only do I love a good poncho, but this one is lined in a bunny soft material that makes it even better. You’ll never want to take this off. Wearing an XS/S

Four: Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigan (SELL OUT ALERT) | Here’s the other Barefoot Dreams Cardi that I love. The circle shape is great for casual wear and is also insanely soft. 1,600 5 star reviews!

Five: Spanx Brallelujia | This is the casual bra that we’ve been praying for. A great one to wear lounging around the house or even sleep in!

One: Kendra Scott Filagree Disc Earrings (SELL OUT ALERT) | These gold statement earrings are my top accessory pick! They look awesome on and aren’t too heavy to wear! These will definitely sell out! I’m wearing them throughout this post and bought 2 pair for myself.

 

Two: Treasure and Bond Layered Necklaces | We all love a layered look and these gold necklaces are a great weight, design and are perfect for V Neck Sweaters.

Three: Madewell Layered Necklaces | A similar Madewell Necklace sold out so fast last year and they have a great new updated necklace for this year. Definitely snag one, I’ve nearly worn mine out.

Four: Michele Deco Watch | Trust me. You won’t believe the price of this gorgeous MICHELE WATCH!

Five: Rebecca Minkoff Layering Necklace | This dainty little necklace is great for wearing alone or layering. The price is awesome for the little details.

Two: Tory Burch Convertible Bag | I loved this cognac TB Bag and the gold hardware. I love that you can wear it long + cross body and then the straps also double up, making it a shoulder bag.

Three: Tory Burch Wallet (SELL OUT ALERT) | I nThe cognac hue is perfect to go with nearly any handbag that I throw it into.
