Spring Dress Review February 25, 2018 | Hi Friends! Whew what a week! I’ve been meaning to post this Spring Dress Review for quite a few days now and instead have been packing and organizing to prepare for our big move this week. If you follow along on Instagram, you probably saw that our sweet Landry was diagnosed with the flu today and it hit us all like a stack of bricks. It came on so fast and really knocked her out, so needless to say I’ve been laying in bed by her side all day (thankfully my mom is here to watch Lawson) and I’ve been able to catch up on a few things while she’s in and out of sleep. I’m praying with all of my might that this is short-lived and that no one else in our house gets it, because honestly I cannot think of worse timing. Landry had a scary reaction to Tamiflu today, so we are going to stop using it for her…so any prayers would be appreciated! Anyway, back to the post! I popped into Nordstrom to review some Spring dresses for you guys and found some real gems! Since Easter is only a few weeks away, I tried to find some pretty options to wear to for that and also any Spring weddings, etc. I was loving thick lace, feminine silhouettes and pops of bold color. Here were my favorites! This powder blue lace dress was ultra feminine and such a gorgeous color. I loved that the change up in lace details around the waistline really accentuated the figure. Wearing a 4 here. Powder Blue Lace Dress This hot pink bow shoulder dress is just about the cutest ever. It’s an easy fit and I loved the shoulder detail. No need for a strapless bra and I love this color for Spring. Pair it with a leopard shoe and a fun earring and you have such an amazing outfit. Wearing a 4 here. Hot Pink Bow Shoulder Dress This kaleidoscope print maxi dress just screams SPRING BREAK! Not only is it under $100 but it’s lightweight, breezy and ultra comfy for warm weather. Wearing a M here. Maxi Dress This little jumpsuit is so so cute in person! This one was 2 sizes too small (I would have needed the 6), but so dang cute. Wear it with a great neutral wedge and you have a Spring outfit that’s great for so many occasions. Tie Waist Jumpsuit This cobalt blue dress is a total show stopper. It’s flattering in all of the right places and the rich blue color is amazing in person. I do think that it runs a touch small…I’m wearing a 4 here, but would have preferred a 6. It comes in other colors, too! Cobalt Blue Lace Dress I tried on quite a few white dresses for you guys because I know that there are lots of brides, showers, and even White Parties coming up! There were so many unique styles that I had a blast trying them all on! This one was so girly and sweet. The details were ultra feminine and the lace was very dainty. I loved the ruffle and the small sheer panel around the waist added some edge. Wearing a Small here. Ruffle Front Lace Dress This ruffled maxi one was one of my favorite dresses ever! Edgy, yet girly and packed full of style at a very low price! It’s got tiered ruffles all of the way down and very strategically placed cutouts that down reveal too much. Honestly I want to make Dan take me somewhere to renew my vows just so that I can wear this dress! Wearing a M here. You have to see the back of this one! Ruffled Maxi Dress I loved this lace panel dress for an Easter or Bridal Shower dress. It’s also super feminine and the A line silhouette is easy to wear and very flattering on! Wearing a Small here. Lace Panel A Line Dress Y’all! Another dress that’s making me want to renew my vows! I would have totally worn this as my “party dress” for my wedding, rehearsal dinner or even a very fun Spring event. It’s AMAZING on and the style details make it look 100% designer. This ruffled beauty is a steal for the silhouette and quality! I felt it ran a little small, so I would size up one. I’m wearing the small here and definitely needed the M. Ruffled Party Dress I have a full post coming on this lace racerback dress, so I don’t want to spill the beans just yet, but for those of you who’ll trust me on how amazing this dress is from this little photo…I can promise you won’t be let down. I’m wearing it for Easter and cannot wait! Wearing a size 6 here for an easy, body skimming fit. Racerback Lace Dress I reviewed this little racerback shift on stories the other day and you guys loved it as much as me! It’s so easy to wear (I’ve owned multiple colors for 3+ years now), and so inexpensive. It’s one of those dresses that can go from casual mom style, to church, to date night depending on how you style it. Definitely try a color or two! Wearing a M here. Racerback Shift Dress $49 Sorry, these pics are terrible because they are screen shots from Instastories, but I wanted to share these dresses here! Both are unreal pretty maxi dresses that are super inexpensive and great for Spring Break! This floral maxi is extra flattering and the back details are really out of this world. You can’t wear a bra, but the fit of the dress enables plenty of support. Wearing a Small here. Backless Floral Maxi $59 I couldn’t get over how great I felt in this floral maxi. I wasn’t expecting much of this one and it ended up being such a pretty, girly dress that I loved. The bright colors are so happy and the back details are extra fun…all for under $60! Floral Maxi Dress A few dresses on my radar from Shopbop. A bit more expensive, but the style factor is really on point! Gypsy Midi Dress Boho Maxi Shop all Free People Dresses HERE. Jessbates says February 25, 2018 at 1:56 PM Mallory, I’m sorry to hear about Landry. I heard recently about young kids having reactions to tamiflu. I’ll lift her and ur crew in prayer right now. My friend’s niece had a psychological reaction to it. Its done strange things to some kids but its been short lived from what I heard. Thanks for these great dress… and that jumpsuit! I’m going to try one this year but one that isn’t cropped. My ankles are as attractive as flamingos knees. So a cropped wide leg pant is laughable on me. Hope u guys stay sane and full of peace.
Judy Clark says February 27, 2018 at 6:50 AM Mallory, thoughts and prayers are going up for Landry and your family. I know that it is not easy to pack up and move across the country for two people. I cannot imagine what it would be like with two small children. Hubby and I were saying that you will probably have to go through Atlanta to get to Dallas. Whew! Atlanta traffic is NEVER fun. I know that it will all be worth it when you get back to TX. We moved from ATL (my birthplace) to TX two years ago and I have not regretted it at all. Praying for traveling mercies for you and your sweet family.
