Completely Casual | White Peplum Top + Jeans March 7, 2018 | Morning friends! Long time no talk! Since my last post (which was a HUGE hit, btw…so thank you!), we’ve packed up our house, moved everything into “storage” (aka it’s sitting on an 18 wheeler somewhere out there), I flew with the girls to Dallas, Dan drove my car and the dog to Dallas and we’ve moved in to a temporary apartment for the next 9 days (but who’s counting?!). It’s been a whirlwind and quite honestly one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I’ve had to consciously keep my head above water and continue to focus on the impending light at the end of the tunnel, taking every single day hour by hour. Once we landed in Dallas, I could feel some weight begin to lift and it’s gotten better each day…thankfully I think that the hardest part of it all is now behind us and everything from here on our should be fun and exciting. If you’re watching Instastories, you saw some peeks of our new house…which I finally got to see the interior of for the first time. I’m IN LOVE with it and definitely think that I can turn it in to what I would consider a dream home for our little family. It’s perfectly fine as is, but there are lots of projects swirling in my mind that I think will take it up a notch and make it lots more functional. I cannot wait to get started! We plan to close next . Monday and move in day is Tuesday, so the countdown is really on now! Anyway, I got off on a tangent and now will reign myself back in to talk about today’s actual post…this cute and casual look that’s an easy Spring uniform to adopt…not the mention easy on your wallet! White Peplum $38 | Even Less Expensive Peplum $22 | Jeans $68 | Mules | Sandals That Would Work Too | Blush Bag (Also in a smaller cross body HERE) | Similar Necklace | Shades I’m a firm believer in that when all else fails, wear a great white top and your best fitting jeans. It’s such a classic look, that’s easy to accessorize and always flattering. Instead of just a white t-shirt (which is still great!), I like wearing white tops with just a little detail, which is why I loved this peplum …it’s got just the right amount of style, fits well, and is under $40! OTHER GREAT WHITE TOPS WITH A FEW DETAILS: Turn on your JavaScript to view content Turn on your JavaScript to view content I’ve worn these jeans a ton lately and raved about them in THIS POST, but they are truly such a good find. Flattering, inexpensive and so easy to wear, especially for a lighter wash. I’m on my second pair and see myself wearing them throughout the Spring. Sadly, the bag is mostly sold out, BUT they did make it in a few variations! See the cross body version HERE and the hobo style HERE. Katie says March 7, 2018 at 1:22 PM I bought this top because I love it on you but sadly it was just kinda blah on me. I do love a white top for spring/summer so am still on the lookout! Good luck with settlement!
Stefanie says March 23, 2018 at 5:46 PM I love this casual yet fashionable look! The pop of the turquoise necklace really brings something extra to this look. Love it! XO- Stefanie https://www.styletruly.com
