Fall Accessories Edit November 10, 2017 | Today’s post is one that I have been asked to share quite a few times. Similar to the Fall Capsule Wardrobe, this Fall Accessories Edit is a streamlined post where I choose the BEST of the BEST accessories that I feel every gal needs in her closet and why I think they are necessary. Hopefully, it will help you sift through the cobwebs and really allow you to look at your current accessories and how functional they are for you. There are certainly pieces on here that you already own, and hopefully you can be inspired to wear them this Fall. There are likely also pieces that you don’t own and I’m making a case for why they should be added to your lineup. Most of you know that I am a mama on a budget, but I do make room for a few splurges here and there and most of those end up being accessories since I feel I get the most wear out of them. These accessories are ones that I wear season after season and pair back to lots of budget friendly tops and bottoms. I’ve included a few of them in this guide (but also added budget friendly dupes as well), so that you can get ideas for potential Christmas gifts that you could get a ton of wear out of. These pics were originally going to be an outfit post, but I thought that I would include them here as they show two of my top accessory picks in action…a felt floppy hat and this darling reversible scarf. Reversible Scarf $26 | Knot Front Cozy Sweater ($49) | Dark Wash Skinny Jeans | OTK Boots | Similar Felt Hat p.s. I knew that THIS SWEATER was good, but I’m just noticing that it had over 400 5 star reviews! It comes in a TON of colors, too! See how I layered with it in the Fall Capsule Wardrobe. ONE / REVERSIBLE PLAID SCARF …as you can see from the above pics this little piece can serve as a scarf or a cape. The plaids are very festive and great for the Winter/Holiday months. The $26 price also makes it great for a gift! TWO/ FELT FLOPPY HAT …if you’ve followed me for any amount of time you know that I love felt hat. I think that it’s an instant chic upgrade to the standard jeans + sweater combo for the Winter. THREE / SUEDE SADDLE BAG …suede is definitely trending this season and I’m lusting over this new suede version of the Chloe saddle bag. A definite splurge, but isn’t she gorg? If you want a more budget friendly suede saddle bag, check THIS ONE out. FOUR / LONG KNOT NECKLACE …when wearing a simple sweater or layering with a cardigan, I find myself reaching for a long gold necklace in the Winter. It’s an easy accessory that’s not fussy, but does add some interest. This one has a dainty knot detail and is good to layer with other shorter necklaces. FIVE / (FAUX) DIAMOND STUD EARRINGS …these are a staple for cozy days when you just need a little sparkle. I wear my studs with everything from leggings to dresses and I think that these are an easy (an inexpensive) accessory to always have on hand SIX / GOLD WATCH …it’s no secret how much I love this watch. I wear it every.single.day. and even gifted it to my mom and she’s since traded out her designer watch to wear this one. It’s just a great shape and size and layers so well with a few bracelets. IT’S ALSO ON SALE!!!! Snag it now before it’s gone again! SEVEN / LIGHTWEIGHT GOLD HOOP EARRINGS …if you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you’d know that I’ve talked about these for years now. They are one of the only accessories that have truly stood the test of time in my lineup. They are lightweight, and dainty but make just enough of a statement. Truly the best of the best basics. If you don’t already own these, trust me and #addtocart EIGHT / DRUZY DRESSY GOLD HOOP EARRINGS …I love a good hoop earring and the druzy on these add some glitz to dress up any outfit. They come in quite a few metal and druzy stone combinations and the neutral pair on the board are great to have in your jewelry box to wear for date nights, girls nights and especially around the Holidays. Turn on your JavaScript to view content NINE / LEOPARD CLUTCH (+ BUDGET OPTION) …I wear my leopard clutch more than nearly any other bag. Truly, I pair it back to almost any outfit for a fun pop of interest and texture. The hyde clutch on the board has been a best seller for over 5 years now and I think that it’s because it’s a season-less neutral accessory. If you are easing into the thought of this, opt for the $45 budget option! TEN / DRUZY ADJUSTABLE BRACELET …another great piece that really adds some interest and sparkle and can be dressed up or down. This dainty bracelet is a season-less accessory and I love that it can be adjusted to stay in place. ELEVEN / MIXED METAL STACKABLE RINGS …stackable rings are so big right now and this mixed metal set is a great everyday one to buy. Stack them all kinds of ways and even add them to rings that you already own, these really make a great addition to your accessory line-up. TWELVE / RAYBAN ROUND SUNNIES …sunglasses are definitely trending more round +cat eye through the Winter and Spring, and I love this classic round pair of Ray Bans. If you are an aviator girl, these are a great transitional option and so cute with nearly anything. THIRTEEN / DOUBLE G COGNAC BELT (+ BUDGET OPTION) …i recently splurged and bought this belt and truth be told I have always promised myself that once I reached pre-baby weight it would be my treat to myself. I have to say that I love it even more than I expected to and am super happy with my splurge. The cognac belt that I’d been wearing was from 2007 and had definitely jumped the shark. It did prove to me though that a cognac + gold belt is an accessory that will stand the test of time and instantly adds polish to any simple outfit. If you aren’t ready to splurge yet, the budget option is great too! FOURTEEN / GOLD PICASSO EARRINGS …another gold earring (can you tell that I think gold earrings are one of the top accessories you should own). These are an in-between style and SKU a little more dressy or trendy. I love these with your hair pulled back into a messy pony and a chunky sweater. They are light as feathers, yet still make a cool statement. The price is amazing, too! FIFTEEN / SUEDE SATCHEL …suede everything. Also satchel bags are definitely trending now. Since #momlife doesn’t allow me to carry a top handle bag everyday, I opted for a satchel that had a cross body option. I love the shape of this one and it comes in quite a few colors. SIXTEEN / TASSEL EARRING SET …y’all. This set is unreal. It contains 3 full tassel earrings and 6 extra tassels to completely mix up the earrings since they are all interchangeable. There are over 100 combinations and it’s a $248 value for only $72! This is literally the only set you’ll need for any and all dressy occasions! Also, the gift of all gifts for an accessory lover!
