Trend to Try: Velvet November 1, 2017 | One of my favorite current trends is all things VELVET. Admittedly, I was hesitant at first and initially velvet brought back memories from the 90’s. Thankfully, it’s much more tastefully done this time around and just in time for the Holidays. I’ve got quite a few velvet pieces to style for upcoming posts and I cannot wait to show you how versatile it can be in your closet, especially over the next few months. One of them being THIS blazer that will be up on the blog in the next . couple of weeks! What I love about velvet this season is that it’s being worn with casual pieces like distressed denim and mules, dressed up with black denim and a statement necklace or even worn as a black tie dress. If you’re hesitant to try velvet clothing, try a cute velvet shoe or crushed velvet clutch for the Holidays. Here are my top velvet picks from around the internet and are easy pieces to try as the Holidays approach. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content.
