NEW SERIES! Casual Friday // Distressed Denim Shorts

Hi Friends! Thank goodness it’s Friday, right?? I’ve been back at home in Louisiana this past week and even though the blog posts went on, I truly unplugged for the week and caught up with my friends and family. It.was.WONDERFUL. While there, I got to escape for a night with two of my college besties and literally have not crammed that much fun into 24 hours in a very long time. I’d be lying if I said my abs weren’t still sore from all of the laughing we did. They also gave me some really meaningful insight as to what they’d like to see more of on the blog…and when I dug down…it looks like that’s also what the rest of you really want to see. CASUAL. Outfits that are cool and comfortable, but still stylish and overall affordable. They want pieces that can transition from Playdate to Happy Hour and can be worn in multiple configurations. I’m starting with this new series “Casual Friday” and I’ll be talking about a casual trend and showing a few different ways to wear it. What do you think? This something you like, too? My absolute favorite trend for summer is distressed denim shorts. I love the laid back feel, loose fit and functionality in my closet. They can easily be worn during the day for a comfy look or at night for a (dare I say) sexy look. I wear mine 3-4 times a week and think that they are a must have for summer.
