5 ON FRIDAY! February 28, 2014 | Happy Friday, friends! Honestly, where did this week go?! Let’s kick this thing off with the cutest baby you ever did see! She loves my shades. We play the put them on, take them off, put them on mommy, take them off, put them on the dog, take them off game for at least 2 hours per day. It’s wildly entertaining to her and, well, whatever works. I was able to give my $10 vintage framed art a little facelift and get her all hung and pretty in the formal living room. Working on styling out this little space to share with you. Confession: I went on a bit of a jumpsuit buying spree this week. I bought four. Four jumpsuits, Mallory, really?! I’m in love with them though and think that I will live in them this spring/summer because they are so versatile and overall flattering. forever21 We will talk MUCH MUCH more about my sofa dilemma at a later time but we did decide on a new one. I asked for a sofa for my birthday, that officially makes me old, right? yep. Our family room is really narrow so we needed to scale our sofa back , especially from the monstrosity that we had before. Again, even the new sofa isn’t a long term piece for us so we got something that was very reasonably priced and fit for the space. I just wanted dark grey and clean lines. Here she is below and I’m really liking it in our room….it feels so open. So this project is about to start…stay tuned. Havertys I popped into World Market today to buy some wall hooks and check out their rug sale and stumbled upon these velvet throw pillows…that were all under $10.
