Sweet + Savory Pecans January 20, 2015 | I’ve mentioned on here before that my dad has a pecan orchard in Louisiana and, lucky for us, we are able to enjoy the fruits of his labor…in the form of fresh pecans. It’s so amazing to see him work so hard at a hobby he loves and there’s truly nothing like a fresh from the orchard pecan. They are so rich and not all dried out like the ones you can buy in the super market. We love eating them as a snack, but my hubby especially loves when I jazz them up a little bit and here’s a recipe that recently got his seal of approval. It’s such an easy and delicious sweet and savory snack to have sitting out and would be a huge hit at your Super Bowl party! Give it a try…. These are definitely a crowd pleaser and are also great to give away as neighbor, hostess or teacher gifts! I hope that you guys have a wonderful week!
