Style Board Series | Vol. 1: Week 4 // Blush + Metallic and Carpool Chic February 22, 2017 | Good Morning Friends! How are you? I cannot believe that today is already Wednesday…although I’m not complaining! Since I took Monday off from posting, this issue of the Style Board Series is coming at ya a day late, hope that’s okay. Today I put together a “Carpool Chic” Athleisure look and a casual outfit based around a blush cardigan that I’m loving in real life lately. Both looks are great for the sort of un predictable weather that we could have coming in March, but both also give off that Spring vibe that I know you’re likely craving from your closet! Enjoy… I saw this top in stores and loved the back details. It’s perfect to pair with a sports bra or to layer over your workout tank. Total “party in the back” top without being overly revealing. I paired it with these brand new Spring leggings…I mean can you even get over the cuteness of these lace-up details?! They are the same brand and overall fit (aside from the slight crop length) of my favorite leggings, but are a great update for Spring. And I FINALLY found some sneakers that I love for Spring!!! I wanted a good neutral shoe, but with enough style details to keep me looking cool…and of course Nike to the rescue. These are a brand new release, so all sizes are in stock…snag them while they last! JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Casual Low Back Top ($55) | Sports Bra | Sports Headband | Lace-Back Crop Leggings | Cross Body Satchel | Druzy Studs | Nike Sneakers Next, I wanted to give you guys a casual outfit that has some light layering involved…perfect for wearing in March and April. I’m clearly obsessed with all things blush and here’s one of my favorite ways to wear it: paired with metallic golds! This cardigan is the perfect length (duh, we all love a tunic), a great lightweight fabric, comes in a TON of colors and the price is on point! I layered it over my personal favorite white t-shirt (a loose boyfriend fit) and distressed skinny jeans (I’ve used these on nearly every style board, btw). To give this simple outfit some pop, I added these amazing metallic slides and a dainty gold layering necklace to enhance the v-neck of the t-shirt. A super easy outfit formula that makes you feel put together but still comfy and casual. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content.
