Little Landry and I decided to put together a mommy and me hot cocoa party for our friends and wanted to share it with you guys! With the Holidays in full swing, we love hosting friends at our house and thought that a hot cocoa party was a great theme for all ages…because, lets get real. who doesn’t love it? We had so much fun picking out seasonal decor and flavors together and taste testing the very best combinations! Here’s how we put ours together, such a fun time for toddlers and adults alike….
Also, lucky for you guys, *most* of the stuff we used is still on major sale from Black Friday, so if you’re hosting a party soon, now’s the time to stock up!
Instead of large amounts of regular hot cocoa, I bought individual packs of Holiday flavors and let guests choose which one they wanted (or try multiples). The Red Velvet with just whipped cream was a total hit! The hot cocoa mixes are also half off!!
These gingerbread man drink hangers were the hit of the party with the kiddos! Who can blame them, they are deliciously adorable, right?? And SO good too. The kids loved snacking on them while sipping their cocoa 🙂 They come in a pack of 6 HERE. You can also make your own with these cookie cutters, which would be a fun activity to do with kids or even at the party.
Buying these Santa mugs was the best thing I’ve done…I loved them for the party, but having my coffee in them every morning just really makes me all giddy for Christmas. They are also on sale, and they come in an adorable snowman too!
For the the sign is just a framed chalkboard sign and I used chalk markers to write everything out…an easy and inexpensive focal point.
We had lots of fun with the toppings and decided on caramels, andes mints, chocolate chips, marshmallows and whipped cream. How adorable is this little hand towel?!

Wasn’t this fun? Here are a few of our favorite hot cocoa combinations:

Peppermint: Whipped Cream + Marshmallows + Andes Mints + Peppermint Stir Stick
S’mores: Whipped Cream + Marshmallows + Chocolate Chips + Caramels
Eggnog: Whipped Cream + Marshmallows + Caramels
World Market is having tons of on-going Black Friday deals and here are a few more of my favorites:

THESE flamingo ornaments for $3.50!
