Holiday Gift Guide: Gift Ideas for Guys November 8, 2017 | Hi Friends! How are you on this Wednesday? I still have my days backwards! Since we got home on Monday, it feels like today is Tuesday…but let me tell you that I’m glad it’s Wednesday! Last week I kicked off my Holiday Gift Guide series with a Hostess Gift Guide and you guys seemed to receive it with open arms! I was so excited because I know that it’s early, but in all honestly I like to work ahead of time to save you the hassle. That way you can read and shop these guides and also save them for later to reference back to. I truly hope that they make your Holiday shopping easier, because they are definitely a labor of love and I pray that they are useful! Today I’m sharing a Holiday Gift Guide for Guys so that you can get some ideas for the men in your life. To sweeten the deal, I’m sharing not one but TWO guides, specific to the type of guy that you’re shopping for. The first is for the all around guy…workwear, weekend wear, loungewear, grooming…a little of this and a little of that. All are things that he can use all year long, making them not only thoughtful but also practical. Next up is a guide specifically for the tech-y guys. The newest and the latest gadgets that will keep him busy for months to come 😉 #thankmelater I’d love for you to share this guide with your hubbies and get their feedback! They might even clue you in on what they really like…hint hint! For the ALL AROUND Guy JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. One / Beard Comb Two / Beard Conditioner If your hubby has a beard, you know that it can be a little high maintenance. not only does this beard conditioner smell amazing (like cologne) but it also conditions and smooths. Three / Quarter Zip Pullover One of my husbands favorite things. A great layering piece for the weekends or even with jeans for casual Friday. There are tons of great neutral colors in this and it’s an awesome price. A gift that he will definitely get his use out of. See all of the other colors HREE. Four / Lightweight Athletic Top Another one o Dan’s favs. These lightweight long sleeve tops are awesome base layers under a pull over or sweatshirt or can be worn alone for an outdoor run or game of basketball. Five / Jogger | Lounge Pants Probably one of the hubs’ most worn pieces. These joggers are SO comfortable and can be worn as loungewear around the house, to the gym, or even to run casual errands. Six / Upgraded Aviators These are so sharp and I love the upgraded tortoise shell bar at top. Seven / Slip on Boots Booties aren’t only trending for women right now, the same goes for men! I know that the idea might be a little intimidating, but it’s grown on both Dan and I. He likes the idea that they are slip on and can be worn easily under jeans for a clean look that can really be dressed up or down. Eight / Cashmere Scarf There’s nothing quite as handsome as a guy in a sharp suit, overcoat and cashmere scarf in the Winter. I’ve selfishly bought the hubs more than one cashmere scarf and he loves them. This one comes in a few colors and is a great price at under $100. Nine / Jordans It’s no secret that these are on Dan’s wishlist this Christmas. They have totally grown on me and I love that this pair is an awesome neutral grey, so they aren’t so loud. I kind of want a pair for myself. #donttellanyone Ten / Chanel Cologne Dan has been wearing this cologne for 3 years now and it’s definitely his everyday go-to. It’s a clean, yummy smell and even after 3 years I still love it too. I get him a bottle for his stocking every year. Eleven / Cap Toe Oxford Dress Shoes Another gift that really won’t ever go out of style…a classic dress shoe in a great neutral! Twelve / Slim Fit Dress Shirt I’ve shared this a zillion times, but these trim fit dress shirts do NOT disappoint. Great price, lots of colors and patterns and Christmas is a great time to gift a few staples! Thirteen / Creed Cologne Since cologne is such a highly gifted item, I decided to include a splurge and a steal option. The Chanel being the steal and this Creed being the splurge. I’m pretty sure it’s the most heavenly thing I’ve ever smelled….that’s all. Fourteen / Leather Wallet If your guy needs a new wallet, this one is a great option. It comes in 4 neutral colors and won’t break the bank. It’s high quality and full sizes and would make a cute gift filled with gift cards from his favorite eateries. Fifteen / Business Travel Bag So this might be my top pick. It’s pricey, but if you husband travels for business you’ll know quickly why I like it so much! It basically unzips to lay flat and the interior serves as a garment bag. Then the exterior compartments have room for shoes, tablets, etc. They really do a better job of showing how it works HERE. Sixteen / Lip Balm Gift Set This was the #1 men’s item on my blog last Holiday season! I don’t know about your guy, but Dan never leaves home without his chapstick. These are great upgraded lip balms that are a perfect stocking stuffer because every guy can use! Seventeen / Slim Fit Sport Coat A navy spot coat is just the gift that keeps on giving. Love this punchy navy and it’s something that he’ll wear over and over for years to come. For the TECH GUY JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. One / Arlo Smart Cameras We are contemplating these cameras ourselves and when I was home and saw how much my brother in law loved his, I thought that they might actually make a great gift for Dan. You set them up either in or outdoors and can even get text alerts when there in motion detected in that area. My BIL had his set to go off every time I trick or treater was at the front door…haha! Two / Drone with Photo + Video Capabilities A toy that will keep him busy for hours 😉 Three / Wireless Premium Headphones These wireless headphones get RAVE reviews and are great if you guy loves the gym or does a lot of business travel. Totally worth the splurge if he’ll get good use out of them. Four / Mirrorless Smart Camera Ok guys, I got this camera last week and I’m not sure who loves it more me or Dan! It’s AMAZING! It’s mirrorless so it’s compact and great for travel and literally gives me better quality photos than my huge DSLR. What I love most is that it has built in WIFI so that I can connect my phone and transfer photos over in about 2 seconds flat…that way I am able to use them on Facebook, Instagram and also text and email to my family. You can also set up the camera and your phone to sync up and use your phone to control the cameras focus, shutter, etc. It’s 100% amazing and if you love photography as a hobby, I would absolutely add this to your list. Five / Smart Backpack + Computer Case Ok how cool is this?! It’s a tech backpack that not only locks to prevent theft, but it also has charging ports for all of your devices so that you can stay powered up on your commute! Six / Outdoor Projector I thought that this outdoor projector was such a cool gift idea for the Dad who loves to throw parties and entertain or just like to be outdoors with the kids. It projects movies onto a large outdoor screen so that you can have outdoor movie nights with the kids and neighbors….or just have his friends over to watch football 😉 Seven / Bluetooth Speaker + Alexa Value Combination We have and love both of these and this value pack is a great option. You could even split it into two separate gifts! Eight / Beanie Hat with Wireless Headphones If your guy is a runner or has a walking commute to work, I thought that this was such a cool (and inexpensive) gift. It plays your music through bluetooth and keeps your noggin warm. Nine / Charging Station Get rid of all.the.charging.cords! This clean docking station charges your phone and Apple Watch all at once and is perfect to keep on your bedside table. Ten / Wireless Headphones Ok I need wireless headphones in the worst way, but I haven’t wanted to pay the Beats price because lets be clear I will lose them within a week. These get TONS of awesome reviews and are a small fraction of the Beats price. I ordered them yesterday and will report back. Either way a great stocking stuffer to have a dupe pair to keep at work or in his gym bag. Eleven / Carry-on Luggage with USB Charging Spot I think that this carry-on suitcase is so stinkin’ cool. Not only is it sleek and functional, but I love that it has a built in USB port to charge your phone while traveling! Not on the Guide, but definitely the gift that Dan is most excited about and something that I’ve been dying to share with you guys! One of our best friends (Dan’s best friend for over 20 years), recently took an amazing leap of faith to follow his passion in luxury timepieces. He started by managing all operations for this really cool brand called Everest Bands, which allows you to customize and change out the watch straps on your watch. Guys go crazy for this and they are amazing gifts to give your husbands, dads and Father-in-Laws. Here are some examples: Most recently, the founders of Everest have decided to create their own Luxury Swiss-made timepieces called Monta Watches and we are cheering them on and excited for the launch of their newest watch called the Triumph! It’s such a sleek, classic piece and I cannot wait for Dan to get his in (it ships in just a few weeks and in time for his Birthday)! If your hubby is a watch lover, definitely share this with him! These timepieces make such amazing heirloom gifts and the price point might surprise you for the quality! Thank you guys so much for following along on this Gift Guide series!
