Hi Friends! Cheers to a short week…especially on Style Your Senses, since I took a bit of an extended vacay (whoops). This little shift dress on sale was certainly the top post of the week! I still can’t believe that it’s been marked down to around $50 from $150! It does run big, though, so size down 🙂

Candy Stripe Shift

This is what I wore to see fireworks on July 4th. The cold shoulder top is breezy and cool and is opaque enough to where you don’t need to wear anything under it. I’ve worn it so many ways already and I’ve only owned it for about two weeks…ha! It also comes in other colors…shop it HERE!

If you’re following along on Snapchat, you know that my obsession with acai bowls is at an all time high! Aside from being really pretty to eat, I find them so delicious and amazingly refreshing in this crazy summer heat. The problem is that they are $12 each and as much as I love them, that’s an expensive habit to take on. I want to start making my own at home and found this simple recipe and think that it’s a great place to start. I’ll keep you guys updated on how they turn out!

Damnit, these articles get me every time! I certainly don’t ever believe that you should lose your sense of SELF while being a mom, but I do feel like this is exactly how 20, 30 and 40 look (for me at least). I wouldn’t trade it for anything…

I also tried this low carb version of a BLT sammy for lunch this week and you guys loved it on snapchat. It’s pretty self-explanitory, but I might try it with vegan mayo next time!

Designer Erin Mcdermott is local to Charlotte but ships everywhere via her website.
