Convertible Sweater Worn 3 Ways for Spring Transition

These next few weeks are so tricky with what to wear. It’s in the 70’s one day and then the 30’s the next and I’m all kinds of confused as to how to dress myself. That said, I rejoice when I find a piece that can gracefully carry me through the transition and one that I don’t really have to think through before putting on. I found this convertible sweater and really didn’t have very high hopes for it because it looks really messy just on the hanger, all droopy and sad and no real shape, but thankfully I tried it on because it’s a GREAT piece to add to your transition lineup. It’s a lightweight open knit (not open to where you need a cami underneath, but open as in a looser, more breathable weave), still feels bright and fresh for Spring and can be worn 3 ways so that you can easily mix up how you style it.

I paired it with my Madewell 10′ rise skinnies, my favorite bag and comfy sneakers for a breakfast date and a day with the girlies. This is such a functional and easy outfit that is still cute and on trend.

Overall, I preferred the sweater worn completely off of the shoulders. I found that it was most flattering and cute that way for me personally. To me, the off the shoulder look gives you a hint of Spring, while still giving you enough coverage, etc for cooler temps.

Here’s how it looks styled as a cowl neck. Great for cool days and also good to layer over should you need extra warmth from a vest, etc.
