#DIYSummerSchool: DIY Photo Frame Upgrade! August 7, 2015 | Hi Friends! Today marks another week of #DIYSummerSchool hosted by designPOST interiors! Today, we are showing you DIY’s from items found at your local hardware store. So, let’s be honest, summer school isn’t supposed to be hard right? It’s too hot outside to even think straight, so I went with a super simple upgrade that anyone (I mean ANYone) can do and the final result yields a lot of luxe for not a lot of money. You’re okay with this, right? I thought so! Here ya go then, an easy way to upgrade your photo frames from boring to amazing in about 5 minutes and for under $5. You’ll Need: Brass Flat Corner Braces (find them in the hardware section of your local hardware or home superstore, they come in quite a few sizes, so choose based on your frame) Brass Thumb Tacks (I bought a large box at the Dollar Tree a few weeks ago) Hot Glue Frames (Make sure that the outer edge lays flat to allow the braces to sit flush) Finally, simply fill the bracket holes with hot glue and place the tack heads on top. Voila, easy as that! Legit takes 5 minutes and I think that the new look totally elevates the $5 frames from boring to super glam and unique.
