One Room Challenge: Week 4 // Guest Room Makeover April 23, 2015 | Hi there again!! If you’re just catching up….I’m currently re-working our guest bedroom and here’s what happened in WEEK 1, WEEK 2, and WEEK 3 ! ((If you are brand new to the blog, see all of the One Room Challenges that I have completed below: Media Room , Living Room , Powder Room)) Here was my punch list still left from last week: -Paint curtain rods -Find art. How do I sweet talk my way into THIS for above the bed??? -Finalize bedside lamps (HELP!) -Paint Bed -Decide how to style over the dresser. -PAINT THE ROOM 🙂 …needless to say, I’ve been a busy bee this past week! I adore how the paint looks in the room. It’s Sherwin Williams “White Dogwood” and it’s the perfect barely there pink. My $99 fixture got a little bit of a makeover….aka I cleaned her up and took off about 3/4 of the crystals for a more modern, clean look. THIS was about $350 cheaper than the Slim Aarons I showed you guys last week and something about it just makes my heart sing. I love the bold stripes (shocking, I know) and how this will play up the blues that are a big part of the watercolor floral fabric. What do you think? The drapes and pillows are being made by the fabric whisperers at New South Home Couture and I cannot wait to get them in! If you’re reading this now, hopefully I’ve made it to Dallas for #rStheCon!
